Honest question and no direspect but have you ever really supported Memorial? Because in all of the years I’ve been on here its been constant negativity. Very little support and constant blaming. I dont think any of the coach’s have been good enough. And the team is never expected to win a big game when your predicting. I hope you go about life with a more positive attitude because with Memorial sports its always been pretty negative.

To throw the ball as much as BF liked to throw the ball, I guarantee you his QB's knew how to read a defense. He has to be one of the best QB coaches this area has seen and not many can coach an offense like he can. Tremendous offensive minded coach! Just think how many games they would have won if he had defenses to go with those offenses! But he is gone and I'm interested in seeing how Coach Joseph does. I'm very excited to see PNG playing some defense again. It will only get better as the younger guys get use to it. Looking for a good game vs Dayton.

Faircloth's 1st year at PNG that defense was the best he had during his tenure. That DC left and they never played a lick of defense since. So just wondering how long that defense will stay good before all of the talent is on the offensive side of the ball. I'm not bad mouthing BF just making a statement about the guy's comment about SS playing defense now.

This is huge news. After he was scratched Sunday the UT team showed up flat. Before that injury they had 3 studs that could win a lot of games. I’m sure someone will step up but its a very big blow to UT!

I guess TD’s comments in the PA News answers your question. I don’t have no reason for emotions to take part in anything I say. He will meet through Skype and email. I believe his comments say everything you need to know. Like I said before I’m sure he can help find some good coach’s. May be a good $20,000 spent. I just don’t understand why they didn’t get the guy they wanted from the get go. They let social media and angry people get in the way. They had a guy they wanted and should have done whatever it took to get him if they wanted him that bad. People were pissed when they let Burnett go and got BF. BF got here and brought excitement back and won pretty often. People eventually will get over BF being let go. I’m sure every board member and the Supt wants whats best for PNG. And I dam’n sure don’t think any of them would do anything to hurt PNG. People are on social media bad mouthing these people and wanting them booted out. Everyone don’t know the reason’s BF was let go. It seem’s like for the last several years I was hearing he was gone and it didn’t happen. I heard at the end of last season he was gone and he would be replaced and then seen the other guy was hired somewhere else. And the firing never took place. Hell I was upset when they didn’t hire Kyle Green and hired Coach Carter as the baseball coach. All Coach Carter did was win a State Championship and is a top notch guy. So I’m sure they will find the right guy again. Hiring TD as a consultant will certainly help them find the right guy.

Someone trying to cover their ass because they couldn’t get who they wanted. One of the names people have mentioned is not an applicant anymore! Blame social media for that! If I had a head coaching job somewhere I wouldn’t want my name thrown around like a couple have. So what happens if they apply and dont get it? I don’t think the names should be released especially if that coach is a head coach somewhere else. All that could do is cause issues with his current job. Personally if I was getting rid of BF I’d have had my candidate locked up and they didn’t and now they are scrambling so they won’t be blamed for the new hire. The PNG faithful can just blame Todd Dodge. And this article is not exactly as it appears. You will not see TD at PNG in person. Like others have said this is just a PR move. TD has been in Dallas and Austin and is going to come back here after retiring. Yeah right! I’m sure he can refer some good guys.

[Hidden Content] No team would take Zeke with that contract! They overpaid him and did the same with Dak. They could have let Dak hit the market and no team would have given him 40 million a season. If you have access to game pass then you would see game after game where we have wide open guys for 1st downs and he goes to the wrong person. Then people blame the coach’s. Dak is inaccurate and can’t read a defense good enough. He plays well against bad teams. When we play average to good teams Dak puts us behind early. Then in the 2nd half when were down by multiple TD’s he gets on a roll. The people who know football knows why this happens. These teams are going into a prevent defense trying not to give up the big play. Dak holds onto the ball way too long. And why does this happen? Because he sees things way too late. So both Dak and Zeke got paid and their play has went down. Zeke dont have the burst he once had. I did notice on game pass that our offensive line was missing several blocks on run plays. And Shultz is terrible at blocking! And if we cant run the ball don’t expect Dak to carry us in the playoffs. He does good when the run game is going good and he can hit passes off of play action. The defense was missing a key guy yesterday and Wilson missed a few plays that Keanu would have made. They still played good enough for us to beat a very banged up Arizona team. No way should Arozona beat us with all of the players they were missing. It looks like we will get them again in 2 weeks.

Well they were voted in to help make those decisions. So enough PNG residents thought they should.

BU sped the game up and dominated. BU emptied the bench and SOC left their starters in until it was over. It was like the SOC coach was looking for a moral victory.

I dont think this is personal agendas of the board. Outside people have no idea what led to this. So until people know the truth. No one should be bad mouthing the board. Sometimes coach’s get comfortable and won’t listen when their bosses tell them things that need to change. They get cocky and tell them this is how it will be. If your boss calls you in and tells you something that needs to change. You will say ok and try to do what they tell you to do. Were forgetting he was also the AD. So maybe this in not all about football.

Well its been several weeks ago that they met and decision was made so I’m sure its coming. I’m just glad it didnt get out while the kids were still playing. This happened in another sport a few years back where the coach was being let go and the kids knew before their playoff game. Things like this should wait until the season is over. Thats just how I feel about it.

And that is wrong! Mark that down! And it wont be Cary. They wouldn’t just let BF go if they didnt have one person in mind. I will wait and let the process go through the motions. But it could be a very good hire. But matching the winning that BF has done will be tough. I’m sure you will start seeing the real good athletes play both ways. Keep in mind these board members bleed purple and white like most other PNG fans. And they have tough decisions to make very often. Its another tough job but someone has to do it.

I assumed you knew what was going on when you started the thread about BF. I’ve known about this for some time as well. But keep in mind he is/was the AD. There has been issues besides football that the board has addressed in the past. And I assume if you knew about this then you know who the next candidate is. This shouldn’t have come out on social media until it was announced. He does have kids and family that will have to deal with this. Coaching can be very cruel. The bad thing is his son is a Junior on a good team that should be very good next year. I don’t see anyone coming and matching what BF’s teams on offense has done. The defense will improve for sure. This will be like when Burnett was replaced. Half the people loved him and half didnt. I will say this I didn’t agree when BF picked Coach Carter over Kyle Green as the baseball coach. But I will say it was the right move. Coach Carter is a great coach and person. I’m sure BF will land some where good and do very well. He is a great coach and loved by his players. But coaching is very tough and you cant please everyone. There has been rumors after every season for several years that he was leaving so we knew it would come one day.

They just lost to HJ by 20. They beat BC and now they are real? Someone better start watching some more basketball. I hope they become real but they are not there yet. Should be a tough district and they will need to be real!

No doubt about Gholke! We will never see a defensive back hit like that in high school again. You will get kicked out of the game for hitting people like he did. He for sure was my favorite defensive player to watch. His attitude after he hit you was the best! When he would lay em out he would just stare em down. One bad dude!

When was this? After the game a teammate had him on his shoulders to shake hands. I hope your right but after the game he didnt look to good. He was taped a couple of times during the game. He is a tough kid though. I thought when he left the game we was done. Crippen kept dropping dimes though. I thought a few were over the wrs heads but they ran right under it. I believe #16 Landry caused the fumble. A fun game to watch for sure!
