Why try and convince anyone how good or how bad we can be or that we are. Sure we are 1-3. That is a fact. Never gonna change. But we are the best 1-3 team I have seen in a while. We got plenty of weapons to hit you with, just show up and see. Beating OZEN will give finest his second wrong prediction in his life. Ozenfinest predicting a win for ozen is making me real nervous about life in general. I keep looking up to the sky to see if it is falling. Hopefully his prediction is wrong, but I doubt it because he knows everything.

I would say that the majority of people have the same beliefs, but I know the only influence on my child's religion will be me and her mother's. There are radical Christian religions in the United states. Who would want Westboro Baptist church beliefs passed on to their kid in school. It should be separate because you never know where the influence will come from.

We need to be a lil more foward in thinking. I am a Christian and loved the prayer at the game. That being said , what is going to happen in 100 years or so if schools are allowed to influence religion. There are extreme religious groups that do and say things in "the name of God". I for one don't want my kids and grandkids to be subjected to this. It could start with a prayer at a football game and could go to teacher led classroom prayers. Then on from there. It is slow process but can happen.

Non district games don't count towards a district championship or district record. If you win your non district games it does nothing except boost your teams confidence. Just like a 4th place team from district can play for a state championship. So let's get it on in vidor tonight

It is way too early to talk about PNG. Plenty can happen between now and then. It is funny though that they are already talking trash. One thing for sure, nederland will adapt to what they have to work with year in and year out.just like when Sonnier ran wild on them, PNG didn't make an adjustment at all to stop it. This shows some issue in my view

It doesn't matter who either team played in preseason or the records. You can't compare that at all. It all comes down to matchups and execution. That is something both teams have struggled with. Hopefully we can have an injury free game and nederland will win.

Everyone is gonna treat Nederland like a rivalry game. That is what happens to the dist champ. What is goin on now is people think we are down that they have some sort of right to talk trash. Vidor doesn't beat Nederland this year just like the last few. I am not dogging Vidor but Nederland does not get any more fired up to play yall than any other team. Might as well be the super bowl for yall. But as usual, Nederland wins and the vidorians will have to wait another year for more empty promises about who owns who

Politics plays a part when daddy and uncle are coaching. It doesn't play a part in high school until your kid doesn't play. They kids play both ways because we are not that deep.

Sext sports fan. I must have been at different games the past three weeks than you. Yeah we have a qb playing lb and he held his own. From my knowledge I don't remember Jacob being a line backer on the under levels. This is a new position for him. Also, the team is struggling as a whole. I know that the coaches haven't changed what they do and most people will agree that over the years it is one of the best staffs around. I am not sure what you are talking about on looking at positions but judging from your junior football comment that you probably coached junior football. I think the coaches have the best kid that they feel on the field all the time. To just say teamwork is the easy fix is ok, but you need to clarify that. How? Tacking is an issue also, but how many more tackling drills do they do? This team has it's own identity and right now they are struggling. What changes in personnel would you recommend

Dme1111. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on the qb situation. It is what it is and that is how it should be. No easy answer for what our record would be if it were different. I for one like the playmaker touching the ball all the time. This is the same staff that have been called the best in the area. Nothing changed this year. Some times it doesn't work out.

There is not gonna be an easy fix for this team. Sage is gonna play qb and he should. Gotta tackle and hold onto the ball. Special teams was not very good either. What they need is support, not a division of the team. We are in a hole and gonna try to climb out. Gonna be tough in Vidor but hopefully we prevail. We can't have any more injuries.

We also don't have perkins, carr, and kemp. Mayfield got hurt also. We are not deep enough to lose kids.

The worst part about this and the central Westbrook hand shake is that these are kids. If, as an adult, you bad mouth any kid on this board you should be banned and your identity should be revealed. These are kids. Leon is a good kid. The central kids are good kids. If they were not good kids , they wouldn't have made it in athletics. I would not like all the things that I did as a kid to be posted and talked about. These kids are what keeps us all talking. Support them and help them and don't talk shit about any of them
