This topic is already ridiculous. New names, new teams, and a wanna be from port arthur that can't wait to get into the district. This should be interesting and there will be plenty of crow to eat week after week. The dogs have a bullseye because everyone wants to beat the champ. In saying that , you have to go out and do it not just talk about it. So until someone beats me, then they are the team to beat PERIOD. So we will find out if everyone has the players and coaching to knock em off. Time will tell. With that, good luck to all the kids and coaches who are busting their ass to win a championship.

A lot of time parents are reliving their failings in high school through their kids. This adds a ton of pressure on the kid to have to play for mom or dad. At the end of the day it is about the team and not the individual. Parents need to realize this and quit dividing a locker room. It teaches negative behavior to the kids.

Wow. Different coach same bitchin. Problem is lil Johnny is the star as long as his dad is coach. There can't be 15 all star players on the field. This game is subjective to what the coach thinks period. He may not think like you but I bet that there is way more that goes into the game than you see. Why not support your team before no one wants to coach baseball in port neches. Then you will really have a problem. This isn't just a port neches problem either..just sayin

We'll if history has nothing to do with it then why do the same teams keep winning year in and year out. Winning breeds winning. No question about that. If you wanna dispute the season then you have to be prepared to back it up. There are exceptions to this rule but everyone can see these groups coming from a mile away. Not saying Lumberton won't win it all. Just saying they need to compete before they are considered in the top group in district. He'll Nederland has been winning in basketball and can't get any respect from the beaumont power houses. If you want respect go earn it. Don't bitch about it before you deserve it
