I am so glad RJ is gone. Plus it was good to get to see that kind of athlete in real life. He is deserving of everything he has earned. I don’t know of any other single player that has 16 touchdowns against us in 3 games. Good luck the rest of the way

I think the underdog reference is from the beginning of the year. We were not expected to be 9-0 at this point. How many games in the past 20 years have been decided by 7 points or less. I think it will be a great game.

Sounds like some individual problems on here and not a lot of talk about football. To me it’s simple. Can Nederland our score RJ? He will get his. He has for three years now and nothing shows that he won’t this time. I like out chances this week but also feel like we need 35 to win this game. Monte will come up with something to help out since Scott is out. I’m just wondering if the staff of purple with nut up under the pressure. My guess is that they will. Ned 35-31

Sounds to me like PAborn needs to coach. Has it all worked out for an 8-0 team. I understand your concerns but you seem to feel you are the only right one on the board. Only time will tell

I do like the fact of two qb rotation but from what I’ve seen blaysin adds something to this team that you can’t coach. He adds grit and that is important also. At 8-0 and having to play two good teams, I agree with the coaches to play blaysin and worry about the playoffs when they get here. We are not sure where it’s gonna fall yet much less worry about round three or four.

How would y’all like him to open up the offense

That’s funny. Crosby always scares me but I’m not sure now that they are this down. It will be a great matchup if we win and png wins.

With all the nice comments I am beginning to question this whole rivalry thing. I really do believe that some people in the district thought big Ned would be down this year. As time went on and people started to realize what was happening, then the talk slowed down. It is easier to say I told you so then to eat some crow. Nederland will win out and be district champs

I feel like this game will be closer for the first 3 quarters and then Nederland will impose their will. Winning breeds winning and these kids think they can win every week. Vidor always plays Nederland tough. I’m sure that some in vidor would love to have the success that Nederland has year in and year out. That is probably frustrating to play Nederland so tough but have different overall results. Expect vidor to play Nederland like they always do. Tough hard nosed football.

I am sure that the kids who dropped the TD passes feel pretty bad about it and will shoulder the blame for not scoring more. Number 3 that y’all are talking about feels the same way. May not wanna specify things and call kids out like that. Remember they are only kids. All Pros and all Americans do the same thing. These kids bustin their tails for png. Even if they come up short sometimes

I think a bunch of grown men hating on this kid is pretty funny. No one knows how he will do in college. A lot of that depends on his work habits and how he matures over the next few years. I have watched a lot of high school football and this kid is special. I would be willing to bet that any negativity will fuel his fire. I hope he stays positive and keeps working. I hope nothing but the best for him except when he plays nederland

Maybe the playbook was not opened up had more to do with prep by the defense and what Nederland took away then coaching on memorial sideline

I wonder what parent made the adjustments and sent them to the coaches.

If I were a memorial fan, I would be disappointed in the fact that 1 bad call in either game separates us from the mid county teams. Whether it be coaching, injuries, or whatever.

I hope memorial never puts it all together. Not a knock on them just don’t wanna see that in a district game.

I am just wondering why we would want someone that is unproven from another school when we have someone that is unproven from our own school. Either one of them could be the next greatest coach or a total flop. What scares me more is that why did only 10 people apply. Our facilities are bad and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Let's all get behind Monte because he has our kids best interest at heart.

Ok Reagan, I'll play. Enlighten me on what you would have done differently. Would you have split up ad and head coach or gone in a completely different direction. You seem very determined to prove your point. I am a nobody so you don't have to indulge me, but if you wanna make your position known I will gladly debate mine. Who knows, there may actually be a lil common ground. After all, we are all in it for the kids

1. I don't have to enlighten anyone of anything. If you know the program which you don't, then you would know all that he did. He and Delbert had roles on that staff like no other. This just shows that you are either a disgruntled player or parent. 2. There is no way to predict what the years under Monte will be like because of the ever changing talent and also he is coaching kids. There are all sorts of variables in this. If you would like a run down of all of Montes responsibilities as offensive coordinator, then it seems clear to me that you know very little about the staff for the past years. You can complain all you want about the best hire but only time will tell. You may need to take your agenda somewhere else. I don't think anyone on the board that has any knowledge or pride in bulldog football is buying your bull.

I'm sure Monte will fill the oc with someone from the staff. Then he would only have to hire a position Coach. It amazes me how a couple people on here trash him. Do you even know his role under Neumann. He was responsible for way more than any of you think. He has been patient and deserves a levitate shot. I just hope the people on here trashing him don't have a kid on the team. Don't need any daddy poison going on. It would seem that in a community like Nederland that everyone would rally around the coach. But it would also seem we could get a bond passed. Anyway only time will tell if he was the right man for the job, but I feel like he was.
