He told his players, it should probably not be discussed until he actually resigns his position. He does not have to resign and take a refinery job. That is his choice and to my knowledge he hasn't resigned. As for whon is gonna replace him, no telling who Neumann hires. Spell makes sense, but until someone is announced, I wouldnt place a bet. Yall getting too sensitive about middle school basketball. I also said I think they would win easily. Athletic ability is better measured in track and football rather than basketball and baseball.

No one said co didn't have athetic kids. I simply said that they are not as athletic as port neches. Basketball and baseball are sports where you need time playing and time playing together. There is no doubt in my mind co will win, but that doesn't mean they are more athletic

Aau is good because you get cream of the crop. Not real hard to win with an allstar team. I have seen many aau coaches that are not up to par either.

Sorry to chime in so late, but. If you have half a brain you realize that the best athletes don't always win in basketball. I have seen both teams and co will win by as many as their Parent pleasing coach wants. My bet is he will take his foot off the gas early. Port neches is more athletic, but they can't beat co Wilson. Diego got to be on that purple koolaide to be posting garbage like that

Port neches middle school has about as much a chance as beating co Wilson as png varsity beat em in football this year

I would say that the majority of people have the same beliefs, but I know the only influence on my child's religion will be me and her mother's. There are radical Christian religions in the United states. Who would want Westboro Baptist church beliefs passed on to their kid in school. It should be separate because you never know where the influence will come from.

We need to be a lil more foward in thinking. I am a Christian and loved the prayer at the game. That being said , what is going to happen in 100 years or so if schools are allowed to influence religion. There are extreme religious groups that do and say things in "the name of God". I for one don't want my kids and grandkids to be subjected to this. It could start with a prayer at a football game and could go to teacher led classroom prayers. Then on from there. It is slow process but can happen.
