How is anything he said opinion? WOS is a good team. They are the best team in SETX on a yearly basis. If they were a state power NOW they would be getting out of the region. How is that opinion?

WOS has an extremely high winning %. 95+% of those wins are against other SETX teams. Are they good? Definitely. Do they produce top class athletes? You bet. But..

I don't personally sell the equipment. We have people that do that.

But if you work for a kind of company we deal with...you make enough money to make a difference. Vote for a bond to improve the situation at your school. What's $20 per 100k gonna matter.

Or..vote for some board members that know how to stretch the money your school has. That's a big part of it. Your school probably has 3mil+ in it's fund balance.

I do understand what you're saying. And I do understand that the things you listed vary from school to school. Special Ed students, kids on free lunch, tax base....trust me I understand the funding is different for each school district. But I do know that there are similar towns and districts that are doing something...and it wouldn't hurt to find out exactly what is happening.

I also know that it makes no sense to have classrooms or administrative buildings in portable buildings if your school had 5mil in a "rainy day" fund.

I do not have any personal hands on experience with it. So I do understand where you're coming from on that. Most if my ex college teammates went into education and they tell me more than they should...so I am knowledgable on the subject. Plus my first wife was a teacher. But no I had no dealings personally. I'll admit that what I know is thru other sources.

And heart.. Band class?.. I played with and against professional athletes in both high school and college. At the highest level. I know plenty about heart. My championship rings prove that.

21-14....is a 1 possession game. That a 1 touchdown plus PAT difference. And...35-28...is also a 1 possession game.

HJ hasn't proven a whole lot yet either. You beat Tatum...who I think is solid. Not great, but solid. And I missed that one... But...No matter how you spin it it was a 1 possession game. And they are getting embarrassed in their district.

Groveton has been smoked most of their games this season. Including the last 2 weeks prior to other 2A schools.

Great player in bball. But I think his size will be an issue for big time ball. guards in big time D1 schools are in the 6'2+ range. I played bball at a mid major and played behind a 6'7 3 gaurd for 3 years.

He's fast enough to play football tho. My opinion.

For the record..good teams can force "unforced" fumbles too.

Just because he was untouched doesn't mean it wasn't caused. He was probably nervous about something. Continuous tackling by superior athletes will make your mind wonder.

I missed this one. I'm man enough to admit it. It's apparent that Tatum is somewhat of a roller coaster this season. Beat a solid Newton team fairly easily. Then played Gilmer really close. That's why I picked Tatum. It's my opinion that Gilmer is the favorite to win it all. Because of that I would probably pick Tatum again.

But.. No excuses and no complaints. HJ you did what you had to do to beat a solid team. Granted..I think they could've given a better showing. None the less..congrats on a good road win.

I've heard all season HJ plays solid "assignment football". Very disciplined and mistake free. Will that be enough to beat WOS? I'm still not 100% convinced. But time will tell. Good luck tho.

Yeah here is one of their mediocre results...they lost to Gilmer 41-35. Gilmer may be the best team in the state in 4AD2.
