Lumberton 8 Jasper 0 Two of Jaspers players collided in the first half and it was a severe collision. One of Jaspers players was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. Please keep the player and the Jasper team in your prayers tonight. I believe the player wil be fine but to be safe the player was taken to the hospital.

im still befuddled by the comment that we were trying to hurt their players ??? or the fact that we have no class? there were 8 cards handed out but my team only got 3 of them. One was a hard foul but the kid was playing the ball, unfortunately a player was injured **my player as well but not as serious. The other was by a freshmen who was playing a different position due to sickness and a starter quiting this week. He was also playing the ball but like i said hes a freshmen. The third card my team got was after a HJ player kicked him while he was on the ground but i NEVER saw any of my players throw a punch! That is absurd. I even played the last ten minutes with only 10 players because we were up by 5 and a HJ player was red carded. How is that having no class?

HF is going the right way..UP! But dont get ahead of your self and say they were controlling the field. HF put 3 shots on goal the entire game and one went in the other went off the top bar. Lumberton put 11 shots on goal and we still are struggling to find the back of the net. The HF game was Lumberton's 8th game (6 vs 2008 Playoff teams) in 9 days and we were pretty flat and have several players banged up. We played ruggish in the first half and picked our game up in the 2nd. HF did win the majority of 50/50 ball in the first half and played with a great deal of intensity and desire. My hat is off to them for their great effort against us. They have come along way this season already and I expect for them to be a great opponent for anyone else this season. Coach H is doing a great job.

Why do people always argue that Nederland dominates every game against Lumberton but somehow even though they lose they are always the better team? ??? Doesnt matter who played better or even who dominated...the only thing that matters is the score at the end of game! Swallow your pride and give the Lumberton girls a little deserved credit!!!

IMO .... because we have 8 out of our 14 kids on varsity soccer team that also play football! Everytime we sneeze on another player were called for a foul just becasue we are so much bigger than them. :-\
