well i guess ill throw my 2 cents in: : Lumbertons defense has only given up 17 goals all season (24 games) In district we have only given up 6 (Schexnider has only given up 4). Our defense is led by Garret Duhon (senior) and Mark Murrill (senior) and Jesse Sparks (junior) and freshman Jordan Granato. These guys have played well all year long and have not given up more than 2 goals in any one game and have had 9 shuouts.

Well a Jasper win against Livingston and a Silsbee loss to Livingston would mean Jasper would be in the playoffs and Silsbee would sit home. Silsbee plays @Livingston today Jasper plays @ Livingston Friday

Rough night for the Raiders: Schexnider was hurt on a collision and is at the hospital at the moment getting stiches Lumberton took 26 shots on goal (Jasper keeper had 17 saves seven went off the crossbar) - we couldnt seem to find the back of the net. Jasper was held to only 2 shots all night (one on goal shot=their one goal) Jasper kids played extremely hard and showed a strong desire to win. Hats off to them for their effort tonight. Lumberton controlled most of the possession in this game but it just shows you that control < the score. Despite being able to see out of just one eye - Schexnider stopped 3 of the 4 shots in the shootout (the 4th one was over the goal)

Caleb Schexnider from Lumberton has only given up 13 goals all year and only 3 in district play this year. He is definately having a stellar season.

IMO....it would be rather silly for a bank that is getting help from the government to give a loan to an organization where probably 2/3 of the employees make more than $500,000/year and some players make several million dollars a year. If the NBA is in trouble i agree with the above post that owners and players should work out those differences in house. Not to get loans. In an economy that is down like ours, it is laughable that major league teams (NBA, NFL, MLB, etc...) are still forking out these ridiculous contracts to players and then asking for loans to help cover costs. Loans from banks that mine and your tax dollars are bailing out of trouble that they got themselves into. Just my opinion!

just spoke with coach C and the game will be played at the highs chool and there is a gumbo sale prior to the game. Come out and enjoy some gumbo and watch a great soccer game.
