2008 Lumberton wins 1-0 at LCM and ties 3-3 at home before winning ina shoot-out. LCM is a very talented team led by a very good soccer coach. They were young last year and have the hunger this year. They are a dangerous team and #17 has the making to become one of the better players in SE Texas. Very quick feet and good off the dribble. Reminds me of a young Brent Waldrup.

That district should be a mess this year. So much talent there with Nederland, PNG, LCM, Central and Ozen. I just wish Vidor was still in that district too .

Lumberton played on Monday night rather than Tuesday vs Diboll Varsity 5 - Diboll 0 JV 8 - Diboll 1

If i am correct, that was the PNG JV tournament. The varsity tournament is not until the end of the month. The only varsity teams there were Bridge City and Hamshire Fannet. Almost positive that 7 of the 12 were not varsity. Nederland, lumberton, png,wb, lcm , central, Baytown Lee , Vidor and Memorial all had there JV teams there. Only Varsity teams there were Bridge City, HJ, and HF. Rob and I have decided to cancel the JV game today so there will only be a Varsity scrimmage. We may even have "controlled situations" if the field gets too bad. You know its soccer season when the rain and cold gets to SE Texas!

might as well throw duane jouberts name in the mix too. he has several state championships under his belt while at Kountze. Very good basketball coach and would be a great fit for Ozen.

a little bias but Jacob Hannah is with out a doubt one of the best rbs in this area. I wish him luck at the next level.

Spoke with Brent last night and he was pretty excited about his goal. Earlier this week Brent also recorded his first assist of the year setting up the game tying goal againts Hardin Simmons. That game ended 1-1. Great week Brent!!!!!
