Lumberton boys had 2: Scott Poole and Cody Luttrell

the jasper coach was asked to nominate and we were told that none of the seniors would be coming

i am the lumberton boys coach  ;)

apparently not a single story about the game with the exception of James Ware and Brooke Bentley at Fox News...... that is simply unacceptable imo.

On the boys side: Micah Murdoch - GK (PNG) --1st Team All State Peter Zimmerman - Defender (PNG) 1st Team All Region Scott Poole - Forward (Lumberton) 1st Team All Region On the girls side: Bianca Garza - GK (Nederland) -- 1st Team All State Chloe Chiasson - Forward (PNG)  1st Team All Region Kaitlyn Stowe - Forward (Lumberton) 2nd Team All Region Britnnie Vigee - Defender (PNG) - 2nd Team All Region Lauren Washburn - Defender (Nederland) 2nd Team All Region Dont really understand why Chloe did not make all state???? The girl from KP did not have the goals nor did her team advance as far in the playoffs. I guess more coaches in Houston area voted for their area kids. Shame imo. 57 goals is impressive any way you look at it. Congratulations to all of our area kids that were represented on the TASCO All region /All State list!

Just got a text from Calebs mom... Region III boys tied Region II 2-2. Caleb Schexnider was named the MVP but not sure if it was for the game or for his team. He came in after the BellAire keeper surrendered 2 goals and didnt allow any more.

Actually..... there is in the making right now a boys SETX Senior Showcase..to be played at a "to be determined site" on a "to be determined date." Stay tuned for more information.

HJ this is awesome what you are doing. Keep up the great work.

Scott finished the year with 39 goals and i believe 14 assists. Bmt Enterprise Player of the Year and District 37-4A MVP. Found out this weekend he is also Academic All-State and was put up for All-region and All-State which will be voted on in the coming weeks.

Kaitlyn Stowe should be added to this list. She set a Lumberton girls record with 37 goals i beleive. and she was a 1st teamer as well.  ;)

Jesse was 1st team and as I mentioned imo the Defensive MVP on the districts best defense despite only 1 reterning letterman on defense.. Jesse.

Zack was really really impressiveagainst us in our game. He has my vote

IMO ... Jesse Sparks #6  was the best defensivie player in our district and has my vote. All I know he was a big reason why the Raiders only gave up 4 goals in district (1 was an own goal). Maybe not as solid as the kid form PNG but should be added to that list despite. Just my 2 cents.

Funny thing about this list is that Scott Poole didnt even play Midfield. He was a forward all season long.  ???
