My oldest graduated this year and I have a younger son who will be a junior this coming school year. My father use to be the HC for Girls and boys basketball at WO and was also the Athletic Director before moving on to become superintendent at various schools. My father I believe coached Coach T back in the day! Yes he is a great Coach and person.

I transferred my kids to WOS from LCM and LCM HC would not release my kids to play sports so they lost a year of eligibility.  WOS has lost many kids to LCM and they were not penalized, so it depends on the coach and district but ultimately the decision lies with the group from UIL, if its for athletic purposes.

No doubt about it! that's why I moved my kids! I want my kids to be part of a good program and that's what you get when the Coaches are there for the kids.. If they are fortunate enough to play at a higher level then its all good but if they don't its not the end of the world. WOS is my kids school, and I admire Coach T and his efforts, do I agree with everything the coaches do, probably not but I know that they have made my kids feel like they are part of that Mustang family and would not have done it any differently!

WOS at home should be a no brainer! Sorry Indians you can start your winning season after the 5th!

Hard to argue with you on that. Even as an Indian supporter. WOS is tuff no matter where you meet, but at Dan Ray Hooks Stadium them Ponies don't mess around.

I totally disagree now in saying that you may have some truth. I am a very tuned in parent because I listen to my kids when they talk to me. Now I never tell my boys to go against anything the coaches ask of them, but at the same time I can tell them what I see, or we discuss what they see. If a locker room is divided it's due to the leadedrship being divided, not leadership of the players only. 

The Mustang will make their deep run without Cole as usual.Chase is a three year starter and is very capable of leading this team.Like I said,Cole will be missed but it aint going to break the bank.What hurts the Stangs is not having Cole when Chase graduates.The Stangs will be fine.

I agree Cole and Chase gave you a lot of options that will be missed no doubt.I think the biggest loss is not having Cole the next two years because Chase will graduate this year.Remember Chase took over for Cole in the Carthage game and almost pulled it out.Yes it will hurt but not as bad as some might think.

Cole is a great QB no doubt but so is Rut. The thing is Rut can contribute anywhere on the field. Hes runs with no fear and is very dynamic as a back or receiver. If you have 2 guys that are eaqual at QB but one is just as good at RB or where ever else, you wouldnt put him at qb. Do you see what i mean on that? He helps the team more by not being the qb even though he might be a little better at it.

for once WOS is on the wrong side of the transfer…………... 

Even with Cole transferring, I see no hope for HJ or any other team. WOS goes to HJ and hands out reality checks for Hawk fans and players! WOS 36 HJ 3 WOS defense will shut down HJ running game for sure!

since you did such a great job picking the score last year! Whats going through your mind this year? Picking HJ to upset WOS. LOL  HJ cant beat WOS in your own back yard much less at HJ

HJ fans know they dont stand a chance at beating WOS or winning district. But I know they would win district if blowing hot smoke out their backsides was a UIL sport.

The only thing I know, is that WO-S will donkey stomp y'all and that HJ will probably finish in 2nd in that piss poor district.
The only thing that saves that district from being a laughing stock is WO-S.

Another easy fix, is for you and your HJ buddy to quit posting nonsense, and people would not fill the need to call you and edelmon on it.

You may be right, I might be a little too kind with that score prediction. I can see a 34-6 score as well.

You are being to kind AAW! There is no way HJ scores 13 points on the STANGS! And do you really think WOS only scores 28 points! That's hilarious.

HJ had 268 yards rushing, 76 passing for a total of 344 yards against Silsbee.
 
Silsbee had 306 yards rushing and 192 yards passing for a total of 498 yards against HJ.
 
So the Hawks were a tad bit shy of that 400 yards rushing you are bragging about. In fact, Silsbee out rushed the "ground and pound" Hawks. ;) :rolleyes:

I recently took my son and another young man to a jr. college to try out for the baseball team. As I watched all the parents bring their sons to try out I noticed Coach Nelson from Silsbee had taken his own time to bring 3 or 4 guys to try out also. He was a pleasure to talk to and he has a burning desire to see all of his kids make it to the next level. I guess that burning desire is contagious because Silsbee definitely has a great baseball program. It was nice to see a Coach take time out during the summer to help those seniors and underclassmen get the opportunity to make their dreams come true. I wish more Coaches would do the same!
