But in the second half, it was almost like we had to try to at least some semblance of a passing game. Coaches are too afraid to use the hook in football. At all levels. Hard to imagine Card wouldn’t have been a better option yesterday.

I don’t know that I ever recall a game at this level where one team got penalized 14 times and the other team zero. Texas definitely earned that loss but jeez Louise. At least call a holding or two (like you did when Ewers broke off a 60 yard run on a late possession).

Not to mention I believe, iirc, he was there under subpoena (I.e., he didn’t have a choice to NOT attend). And then it’s a matter of answering questions you are asked. I am quite certain he would have probably preferred to be ANYWHERE else on that day.
