I find it very funny that atheists try to force there religion upon Christians and its not wrong, but if Christians want to attend school and learn about Christ independently with teachers it is a MAJOR problem. I'm glad I went to a private school and could worship my Savior at all times without being ridiculed. Next there gonna say pre game prayers should be abolished. Fight the fight the good Lord intended! Stick it to em HJ!!

Wow, they do have the right to make their own choices. They don't have to join any group if they don't want to. This is the kind of crap that makes me mad. Just like the Kountze thing, nobody is making anybody read and believe the religious messages. If you think its rubbish, cool, ignore it. But don't try to punish the people that believe.

Atheist are probably angry because they believe their entire existence is an accident. I'd be mad too if my life had no meaning at all other than to live and die. Poor folks

Fight the good fight, HJ.....don't give in to these radical atheists trying to force THEIR religion on all the rest of US........

I stand with HJ, seperation of church and state is INTENDED to mean no State run religious organization, i.e. The Church of England. It is not intended by our founding fathers that religion be excluded from schools, ten commandments taken out of government buildings, etc.. We are, have been, and hopefully will be ONE NATION UNDER GOD. Stop the political correctness. If ONE person gets offended we have to change the name of our sports teams and so on. It's time to make a stand and get back to our core values. As long as no child was being forced into this organization there should not be a problem with it.

6 man rules

When I first came to CCS from LCM I didn't even know six man existed. But I have found out it is much harder in some areas and definitely more exciting. Also some 6 man schools could compete 11 man ifthey had big enough linemen. Throckmorton played a 1A (now 2a) state semi finalist back in 2011 and beat them by 20 points if I remember in a first half 11 man second half 6 man game. I definitely think because this area is bigger most people think 6 man is more of a sideshow than anything. I graduated last year but I still would like to invite some of the SETX members to some of CCS/OCC football games as most are played on Saturdays to keep from competing with 11 man ball. It's alot different the first time you watch but it definitely entertains you. Some SETX teams in the near future may have to go to six man ala the route of Chester and High Island. Not many people around here have seen six man played but Dberry came and did a few articles on us last year and he would have a good view point on how entertaining it is.

I think OF takes 3rd in that district this year so, based on the Buna-OF game, I will say Buna 27-HF 21.

We can go on and on about bad officiating. Both teams benefited from bad calls. However, as bad as we thought they were, they did not decide the outcome of the game. WOS held a high-powered PNG offense to zero points in the second half. The refs had nothing to do with that. The better team won last night.

Congrats to the Pirates on a big win. It's always an emotional game when you play against a former coach. Kids played with heart and are tough. Warren and Coach Babin will be fine . They will only get better with him there. If you don't believe that ask the kids in Deweyville. Pirates nice win.

The key to the win was WOS took its best defender and put him on your best receiver. DT shut him down and made your quarterback look for other options.
