Good post, I totally agree with you! Tension is high, no doubt, at PNG this year. We have a brand new stadium and would love to be in the playoffs. Whether its the coaches or the talent on the team, who knows. One thing for sure is that its a lot easier coaching from the stands than it is on the sideline...hmmmm!

What makes you think Nederland can stop Reynolds? Or Peevey? Or Pitman? Or Teinert? Or Dart? What makes you think Ronning is gonna just lay down and die and not sack Bellow several times? Same for Strother. You've only faced one other defense like Vidor's ... Central. And you lost. Don't come in over confident. Obviously you haven't been reading about us... I think Vidor will contain Grogan. Vidor's defense definitely know how to tackle. Just a gut feeling, but I believe Vidor will come away with the "W" in this game.

I don't see anybody beating Lumberton. I think they will win out! The Raiders have it goin on! ;D

Welcome to the district, Livingston....and yes, I'm a believer in you! You definitely are earning kudos in this district. Keep it up! Dayton was in our district last couple of years, and definitely got MOST of our attention and respect. There are some, no matter how good you are, will never give you credence for your talent and ability. I'm one of those dedicated PNG fans that bleed purple and will follow my Indians whether they are winning or losing....however, I can admit when the Indians are down and they are definitely DOWN this year. I too, can recognize a good team.......Livingston is a GOOD team, and has been underestimated by many. But, like others who have posted here, in this district, you have to EARN the respect, and you're doing it! Keep up the good work! Best of luck to you in the playoffs!

I agree. I think Lumberton will win out......don't think Nederland can beat Lumberton.

dont think so. did you kno that it is going to be VIDOR'S HOMECOMING and it happens to be on HALLOWEEN night so spooky things can happen and lets just say vidor upsets the LITTLE DAWGS :D I predicted Livingston would beat Nederland to much resistance. I think Vidor will upset the Dawgs this week. This will eliminate Nederland's birth for the playoffs.

I totally agree with this statement! Vidor continues to improve each week as a team and as a fan base.

I would love to see Newton play at The Reservation, since Newton is my alma mater. Not sure if any playoff games will be played there with all the construction going on. The pressbox still needs to be finished as well as the track layed around the field. Will just have to wait and see. Would be nice, though!

Gonna be a good game for sure with a playoff spot to boot! However, I have to give the "W" to Vidor. The Pirates never give up. I feel their defense will have Grogan's number and will stop him....it may take two or three players, but these kids from Vidor have a lot of heart and will do the job. I just don't see Nederland taking this one. It seems to me that Nederland always has problems playing the Pirates at Vidor. And, since this is Vidor's homecoming and they can feel a playoff spot, the intensity will be too much for the dogs. Vidor 28 Nederland 24

1. Livingston 2. Central 3. Lumberton 4. Vidor In that order....sorry to say it, but I don't think a Mid County team will be in the playoffs this year. Nederland plays Vidor Friday night. It's Vidor's homecoming and Halloween....go figure! The Pirates will be fired up as they always are at homecoming, and it seems like Nederland ALWAYS has problems playing Vidor in Vidor. Would love to see this game!
