Was told both QB are ineligible. Is this true? They both came to silsbee around the same time.

Martin had around 27 totes for 225 yds. 2 catches for 31 yds 2 TDs. Best game all season. We can only imagine what he could have had if he got that many rushes all season. His name will be in the WRS conversation. IMO. And by the way he did that playing sick.

Typically if the kid moves during the school year and completes a grading period. There is no eligibility issue. Don’t wait until school is out. That’s when residency and other factors come into play.

Mason Brisbane and Martin actually got an offer from Hardin Simmons. But I think that was his third one.

He deserves a chance and the support of the community. No coach was born coaching. They were given the opportunity to learn and grow into the role. Can’t please everybody.

I doubt ticket sales will go down. The kids still have family and friends that will support and I’ve talked to several parents and they never mentioned it had to be Tobey. Hickman has already established a rapport with the players. IMO Hickman should get it.

I saw a kid from Killeen shoemaker score a TD for Baylor last night. So Toby can still get kids to next level without a winning championships.
Shoemaker has a big number of recruits every year. Has nothing to do with coaching. That’s been way before he go there.
