  1. You're right. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull away and win this one by 15-20 points. They better not mess around, though
  2. This game is being played in Lawrence, Kansas. at the half, Baylor is more than holding their own. Kansas 36 Baylor 33
  3. the cards better pick it up!
  4. they almost brought down a highly ranked tennessee team, losing by two on a last second steal and layup.
  5. i don't know that i did anything that would humiliate the guy, although if it does, he can always remove his post. as for the name bullets, well, i'm just a big teddy bear . there, i fixed it. Doctor Samson why even enage or fall into his trap? Bullet is always the hero of his own stories have you not noticed? He is trying to one up Bh89-2 so let him alone. Besides Gig'em is about to win their third in a row. ;D You've never been so right.
  6. With Bailey hurt, Orangefield's chances just improved. I wouldn't be completely shocked if the Bobcats came away with a victory, but if they do, they have to beat Jasper again in a playoff if i understand things correctly. I don't see the Bobcats beating Jasper twice in such a short period. Good luck to both teams!
  7. Another fantastic accomplishment, but it doesn't mean much unless we bring the hardware back home to Sour Lake.
  8. that's cool that they're giving him a chance for one last game.

  10. This is the type of result we've been expecting to see. Good to see LCM pick up a nice win.
  11. central's starting to fall off the pace...
  12. this was just about a must-win for nederland, and they got it done without two seniors. nice result for the bulldogs.
  13. wow, it wasn't even close... how big of an upset was this?
  14. what did it hurt to tell him?
  15. i hate to see my hawks struggling so badly, but congrats to Ozen on the huge improvement.
  16. i guess silsbee was tired of those close games with OF. what a huge win!
  17. we got a important player comin bak??????so we will win tonite no doubt if one player makes that big of a difference, ya'll are going to have trouble making the playoffs...
  18. should be a good one... Ozen has to be a slight favorite in this one, but i'd love to see my hawks get a win...
  19. Gumbo 1 My Stomach 0 I think Gumbo takes it, but not until the middle of the night, after I've fallen asleep and let my guard down. Oh, wait, this is the nederland/vidor thread. I'll take somebody by 1. Either team, it's tough to tell. Vidor is scrappy, and seems to find ways to win games, but Nederland really needs this win. Good luck to both teams.
  20. I won't, but I'm pretty sure he's psychic (or has a tap on my phoneline)
  21. The refs were bad... so what? They made bad calls both ways. I've heard griping about a discrepancy in the foul count, and how HJ shot more freethrows. OF chose to slow the ball down and play a very conservative and slow-moving offense. The advantage of this: it keeps the score low, and keeps the hawks from running. The disadvantage: fewer freethrows. I promise you if OF had decided to play at the type of pace the hawks wanted to play, the bobcats would've been to the line much more. Of course, they probably would've lost by 20. I say congrats to the Bobcats coaching staff for finding a gameplan that worked and sticking with it. Being even slightly critical of a coaching staff which led their team to a 2-point loss to the defending state champions (and with a shot to win it at the end, no less) seems pretty silly. I think it's also silly to use the refs as excuses. When the hawk fans did it earlier in the year, they caught tons of grief for it, and by all accounts the officiating there was much worse than in this game. There is no reason for it be excusable now for OF fans to blame the refs. You had your chance to win, and didn't get it done, but you made a damn fine run at it. Be proud of the result, and of your boys, and quit looking for people to blame for the loss. You got beat by a better team, but you sure made things interesting!
  22. FRIENDSWOOD MUSTANGS 23-7 overall 3rd place in district with a 9-3 5 Cody Bergeson G 6-2 3.6 ppg 12 Drew Branch G 5-11 10.1 ppg 13 Andre Gautreaux G 6-1 2.8 ppg 14 Austin Beaty F, C 6-3 .8 ppg 15 Nathan Harvey G 6-3 3.7 ppg 21 Byron Randle G 6-3 10.2 ppg 23 Austin Slone G 6-2 3.8 ppg 30 James Blasczyk P 7-0 10.3 ppg 34 Jordan Knowles G 5-11 1.6 ppg 40 Emilio Canales G 6-3 .7 ppg 44 Mark Garza P 6-7 3.2 ppg 50 Cameron McClain P 6-7 .9 ppg 55 Brandon McClain P 6-8 7.5 ppg if you take all four players over 6'7'' and add their average point totals together, you're barely looking at 20 points a game. it doesn't exactly sound like they're tearing up the paint. I don't think Ozen (if they even play them), will struggle all that much against them.
