i just don't understand how teams can't find a kicker. our football coach pulled me out of soccer practice my sophomore year and told me to get ready to kick the next season. i had never kicked a football in my life and by the end of my first season i was pretty damn good (at least in my opinion). it shouldn't be that hard to find someone who can at least make an extra point. I went to HJ, which is a small school like these, and i can think of at least 10 guys that could've made 4 out 5 if they had a little practice.

i hate to say it, but WB might be done. They're going to have to really pick it up to compete next week. Looking at Clements stats, they appear to be able to pass and run, so the D is going to have to step up. On a positive note, they didn't have a lot of blowout wins, and they were 5 points from being 8-3 instead of 11-0, so they are beatable.

i would ask you to mail me some, but apparently UPS frowns upon packages containing white, powdery stuff...

I delivered pizza in marshall for 3 years during college, and i used to listen to their games on the radio every friday night during their state run a couple of years back. i'm glad to hear that they've regrouped a bit.

You're saying in lumberton they quit delivering the sports page because ya'll weren't making the playoffs in years past? ;D I guarantee you every kid on lumberton's squad knows exactly who LM is, and what they've done in the past. The thing that you guys have going for ya'll is that you've got nothing to lose. History was made when lumberton made the playoffs, and again when they won their first playoff game. This season is a success for them by anyone's standards, so the pressure will be off a little bit. Hopefully this will relax them enough to go out there and play their game. Who knows, anything can happen.

I really hope this is true. Don't let the fact that LM is having a bit of a down year fool ya'll though. They're going to be the best team ya'll have played so far (probably by quite a bit). They know how to make it to the playoffs, and they know how to win once they get there. It's easy to throw these scores around, and to say that if lumberton plays their game that they'll win, but i still think it's gonna take more than that. Lumberton is going to have to be their best, and maybe then some. I wish ya'll all the luck in the world, and i hope ya'll win by 100.
