It all boils down to the fact that all three of these coaches are good choices for the award. I chose Winkle because of the vast improvements OF has made this year. HJ and Silsbee are where everyone expected them to be. Although some people may have forseen OF's improvement, most of us are still a little surprised with just how much they've improved, and the fact that they're in the playoffs. Hats off to all three coaches... no matter who you're pick, it's hard to say you're wrong.

the only thing i know about fairfield is that they have a gas station on 45 that serves a mean sausage on a stick. So, in my ignorance, i say HJ by 7.

yeah, but burrell is still only about 90% . HJ by 25. They're back to full strength and really pulled it together against silsbee.

Navasota is going to be as tough or tougher than HJ and Silsbee were this year. I'd love to see the Bobcats win, but i'm going to pick Navasota by 15.

This sounds like possibly one of the greatest comebacks in Texas girls HS basketball history. To be down 17 with very little time left in the fourth and come back and take the lead is remarkable. It's a shame that this game was marred at the end by what appears to be poor and possibly even vindictive officiating. If what happened can be proved by video and eyewitness accounts, this ref will get what's coming to him. Unfortunately, that's very little solace to a team that played their hearts out and got cheated at the end of the game.

I can't imagine any reason why the wildcatters would take this deal. Their only source income is going to be tickets and 20% of concessions. After paying rent, expenses, and salaries, would the club even make enough to justify Mrs. Terrell making this investment?

the only silver lining is that we're giving up a retired guy and trenton hassell now instead of Jerry Stackhouse and Devean George. It's still a stupid trade IMO.

Don't forget GolTV in the 400's on Dish! They carry the Bundisliga and La Liga. I've been LOVING watching Real Madrid and Barca. Other than the Big 4, I can't stand to watch the EPL. For some reason I've been cheering for Reading the last two seasons. I'm not sure how they became my team, but they have. I enjoy watching the big 4, but the only one that I don't root against is Arsenal.

My FSC was inexplicably not working with my Time Warner, and they couldn't fix it. Needless to say, I now have dish network. I've been watching the same couple of games over and over again for the past 2 days, but I'll take anything after not having the channel for 3 months!

Both HJ and Silsbee have tremendous coaches, but I'm going to go with OF's head coach for coach of the year. Not only did he lead them shockingly into playoff contention, when it mattered most he found a way to beat Jasper twice in order to get into the playoffs.
