i know nothing about kelly basketball this year... was this expected? an upset? how are they looking so far this season?

LCM might just be the real deal. they've strung together a couple of pretty impressive wins.

You tell it exactly as you see it, with no effort to avoid stepping on toes. you also do so with a blatant bias, and you do so knowingly, and without excuse or apology. you use a great deal of basketball knowledge to chastise those who speak out of ignorance, or whose views differ from your own. you don't back down from anyone if you don't agree with them. and you do it all with a touch of sarcasm and humor. it kinda grated on me at first, but the more i read, the more i enjoy it, because it's become clear to me that you are neither an idiot or a jerk (although at times you might show a touch of each ). you are just passionate about your basketball, and your team, and who can really gripe about that?

4 goals 5 minutes into the game is pretty nasty.

it really is a shame... it makes no sense to me when i see parents living vicariously through their kids to the point where they are more passionate than the kids playing the game, and more disrespectful and outspoken. parents are supposed to be role models for their children. i see more and more parents acting like children in the stands. and we wonder why kids talk back to their coaches, disrespect the referees, and get into fights at the drop of a hat. their parents are doing the exact same thing in the stands! it blows my mind. until parents begin to act more like adults, i can only see youth sports continuing to deteriorate.

babe, i don't think your choice is stupid. he's a phenomal athlete and competitor. he just doesn't fit MY idea of the world's best athlete. i think this is a case where we can respectfully agree to disagree.
