1. and these fish were thick slabs!
2.
Great haul. Thanks for the report. I've heard it's been inconsistant lately. The conditions seemed good while I worked in the yard today :'(
we fished for about 3 hours and had 2 barely keepers and the red.  we actually found some birds working, hard to believe this early in the year, went way past them and let the wind carry us to them, and caught 18 more trout in about an hour and 5 minutes.  most of those averaged 18-20.  i had a four-cast streak of 18", 20", 19", and 20", and i don't think i had to crank the bait 10 times in those 4 casts :)
3.
Sweet!  Was the wind very bad?
yes.  started pretty bad and got worse.
4. Close game through the half, HJ opens it up a little in the 3rd, and a lot in the 4th.  HJ wins by 22, 77-55.
5. i think this guy and captredrass might be cousins :)
6.
Stevenash only knows HJ basketball and I guarantee if HJ lose Tuesday and Silsbee wins, he will be humping like a dog to jump on Silsbee bandwagon !!! Stevenash, just admit that you hate Silsbee basketball... "Say It".....  If anybody says anything good about Silsbee, you always have something negative to say....
if he hates silsbee basketball, why would he "hump like a dog" to jump on the silsbee bandwagon?  i know for a fact that nash has much respect for Silsbee basketball.

9. we tore them up today!  20 trout, averaged about 18", 1 red at 24"
10. anyone know crockett's record?
11. congrats to BH on a monster win!  coming in with a 37-3 record, i highly doubt that Ozen overlooked them.  they just ran into one of the few teams in the state that's good enough to beat them, and BH clicked on all cylinders while Ozen played poorly.  Hopefully BH can keep it going and bring a championship home to SETX.
12. i did well enough, have had a very good season for being a soccer expert!  :)  i'll take being just 5 games behind the resident basketball guru this late in the year!
13.
Wise probally lost sleep over that one point.... ;D
so true :)
14. i'd say the odds are pretty good that HJ fans and cheerleaders have a pretty good shot at showing them how it's supposed to be done here in a couple of days :)
15. can't remember Region 3 ever being so difficult to get through.  HJ, Silsbee, Navasota, Coldspring, Connelly, La Vega, Fairfield, Royal, Athens, and Sealy all have had great seasons this year.  HJ and Silsbee took down two of these teams, will face two more this round, and if they advance, will face two more!
16.
why not Lamar  for Nederland and Ozen ?
seems fairly reasonable.  a little closer to Ozen, but the schools are what, 15, 20 minutes away from each other?
17. seems like a solid hire.
18. that one got a little hairy!  congrats, BH!
19. nice win for Nederland, and it's always going to the 3rd round to face a team who you know you're capable of beating... should be a good matchup, both teams are playing well.
20.
Wow!  Figured FF would win but not by that much.
ditto!
21.

well, the good news for both HJ and Silsbee is that they don't have to worry about either Seally OR BR later in the playoffs... of course, they might have to face each other... :)
Which is the way it should be!
could not agree more!
22. Hardin-Jerrerson beats Navysoda by fiveteen. ;)
23.   Are Navasota and Coldspring as tough as Sealy and Brookshire Royal?  Navasota played a mostly tight game against a team that HJ spanked a couple of times this year, and Coldspring barely squeaked by a Stafford team that HJ was nice enough to let reach 30 the other day.  Your thoughts?
24. well, the good news for both HJ and Silsbee is that they don't have to worry about either Seally OR BR later in the playoffs... of course, they might have to face each other... :)
