HJ has shown some improvement this season.  Lumberton has routinely beaten HJ by 8 or 10 goals for the last 10 years or so.  From what i heard, this game was tied 1-1 about 65 minutes in.  No reason for the hawks to hang their head.

the scariest opponent HJ has faced in quite awhile.  it sure seems like this was the year that the 2nd seed from our district would've paid off.  this game is a coinflip in my opinion.  If HJ plays like they did last night, i imagine we'll be seeing a LaVega/Silsbee regional final.  If they play well, they're more than capable of winning.  I'm actually kind of glad HJ was in a nailbiter last night, because this is likely going to be a close game the whole way through.
