Been going to this game since 2010 when I was dating my now wife who is a Nederland grad.  Only game I missed was the 2012 game due to a death in the family but that has been the only game since 2010 that hasn't literally come down the last play.  Some very memorable moments in the last 6 years.  The 4th down stop against on Doty in 2010, the Troy Benjamin 85 yard TD run in 2011, the 4th down interception in the endzone in 2013, 4th down stop on Morse in 2014, and the Brindza FG last night.  Growing up in a town of just 2500 people I was in awe the first time I witnessed 15,000 in a high school stadium and I still get chills every year...and I've only been a spectator for this thing!

14,000 people and no football teams.....

This made me think back and my favorite is not as much a player as a play. Does anyone remember the 80+ yard TD run that Troy Benjamin had to seal the win for the Dogs at the Reservation a few years back?   Was less than 2 minutes left and that run put a knife in the heart of the ole Injuns. Makes me smile to this day!

Yeah I remember when they started calling it Mid County Madness, before that it was just Bulldogs and Indians, But I agree every year keep calling it MCM and at the end of the game the Bum Phillips Trophy goes to Nederland, simple enough huh?

Great halftime adjustments by Ned. Ran the ball at will in the 2nd half. LU needs to get Krautz NOW. He would be an excellent slot receiver in FCS. What are you waiting for, LU?

Usually enjoy Central halftime show but tonight was a lil x rated. There are a lot of kids who watched that show, and the sideline show in front of cheerleaders was much, if that was my daughter we would have problems.

The punter and kicker cost them a chance to tie or stay tied.  They still would have had to win both games in overtime.  It seems that most Longhorn fans forget that part 

just tell people you meant upset in terms of how upset a lot of people were gonna be...

Lamar had a 2 QB system in 2012 with Caleb Berry and Ryan Mosskowski and it was an epic fail.  I think Woodard realizes that now and his 2 QB system to start the year was basically to see who was better in game situation.  They rotated QBs in every quarter so at least there was some consistency there.  Not sure if they were gonna go with Minden before he ended up being injured but my vote had been for Earp due to ability to run and you saw that vs SHSU. I think rotating mid series approach SHSU had is a terrible idea...can't keep an offensive rhythm if by doing that especially when the 2 QBs have different skill sets.

Lamar also has PN-G's Christian Langston committed to deep snap.  They have 11 guys committed at the moment with 3 being from PN-G, 2 from Crosby, and 1 from Nederland.  The others are 2 from Fairfield, 2 from Deridder, and 1 from Lake Charles.  In my experience following recruiting it's quite rare to have that many commits at this stage.  But it's not just the quantity but the quality that is more impressive

while i was impressed with lamar, i am NOT impressed with the fact that baylor scored a touchdown on 1st and 10 with 1:15 left in the game and a running clock.  gotta be classy and kneel out.  lamar played hard and deserved that much.

Lamar with a screen play where the reciever was wrapped up and tackled as the ball was thrown, and Lamar is flagged for intentional grounding because the receiver was tackled out of the vicinity of where the play was going.  Explain that one for me :)
