I’m not a coach, but have some friends and family members in the profession many of them said they didn’t know anything about it until the list already came out. So either they aren’t members or they just didn’t know about it, I’m guessing a little bit of both.

Well the off and on varsity starter from last year was a sofphmore, Pavlat, he will likely be the day 1 starter. The JV QB, Johnson, should be moving up as well, as he was a sophmore also. The JV will likely start a next year sophmore, Edwards, that played some on JV last year and was that groups starter in middle school. 

Heard Pavlat was moving to Splendora.

Not sure, know he has kept busy building a track juggernaut at New Caney Porter though. 

I make Mark Newton tell me no. Then I call Mark Newton again and make him tell me no twice before I move on to the next candidate.

In this case if the HJ shooter had hit that 3 pt shot they probably would of given him a foul shot to maybe win the game.  But he missed.  They weren't gonna give him three fouls shots to maybe extend the game.  The ref wanted to go home. Can't say I blame him.

I can. At 70 dollars a game, officials better not miss calls because "they want to go home"

From a neutral party, I love everything about McCain and Bush and how they played and approached the game. Proud of the growth McCain has shown. His mental mentality and approach to the game  in San Antonio was fantastic.  

Atascocita has to be a little bummed being 2 spots behind a team they have beaten by double digits twice.

Manvel went 5 for 5 from the FT line in about 5 seconds and the lead went from 2 to 7 and game never got close again. How was the following foul I don't remember it as vividly but also remember questioning it a bit as well.

Thought Ozen was really hurt on the foul they were whistled for while Manvel was taking a 3 when the score was 47-45 that particular call really flipped the momentum of the game and was a bit questionable. 

Ozen always tries to use the Houston chapter for playoffs and wouldn't use their own chapter that is well known. People saying Ozen tried to use the Beaumont chapter have no understanding of how the process works. 

My guess with no direct knowledge Ozen wanted to use the Houston chapter ( they always do) and Manvel initially agreed. Manvel got wind of the fact that Ozen for years always suggesting using the Houston chapter and found it a bit funny and decided that was no longer the chapter they wanted to use.

All three must have moved in this year?  We played Porter last year and they had one really good player but I think he graduated. 

HBU commit has been there since a freshman and is a senior this year. Porter didn't graduate any seniors last year.
