Purple/Silver/White

Should be a pretty good game. The final score (48-0) in the LaMarque vs WC game doesn't tell the whole story. That game was 0-0 @ halftime, but after that, WC started making too many mistakes and that ended up costing 'em bigtime. Point being, I think that IF they can play the full 48 without making those mistakes again, WC may have a decent chance to win this one.

[/quote]LOL, Dawson (pearland) Will likely have to get past Angleton (again) this year, and I can gaurantee you that It will be a MUCH harder feat for them to accomplish this time. The only reason they BARELY won last year is because they had home field adv, and (some believe) they played dirty/cheated (read: Deliberately Broke Richard Cooper's ankle/leg in the middle of the game, among many other things) and got away with it because they had the refs on their side and always looking the other way when they did it. The 'Cats are a much more balanced, and much better team now than they were last season. Last year they were still learning brand new offensive and defensive schemes, now they are quite familiar with said schemes... ;D  I believe that if we can get a fair shake this year, and we don't have to play the refs again Dawson will fall. Of course, that is IF we meet them again this year...Might be Big NED that takes them out first! We'll see I guess. ;) P.S. Thanks to all who support us! It's much appreciated.

Yeah, I'm very sure that by now Coach Roark has made a serious effort to correct this problem, especially after last friday. Guess we'll see tomorrow night for sure @ George Ranch Longhorns in Rosenberg  ;D... BTW, how those Pirates lookin' so far this year? Good I hope?

Hate to be the one to point it out, but our kicker missed TWO fgs that left 6 points on the table in that game against Taylor (one of which there was no good reason for missing bc it was only ~ 25 yds or so, and FELL TOO SHORT???). Even one of those fgs being good would have sealed the win for the cats in that game. Not sure what the problem is but the coach definitely needs to address this issue asap because it wasn't reflected in the final score against Lamar Cons last friday, but that same kicker missed 2 points after, AND one fg (that I remember) during THAT game also. ???  what's the deal?

Yes, that flag was uncalled for, and That play should have been the end of the game. There was no interfering there, just excellent pass coverage by the cat's defender(s). AT should have lost that one 7 to 6. Or... 10 to 6, because there is NO excuse for the last Angleton FG attempt to be as short as it was.. >:(..should have been an easy 3. Not to mention the FG attempt that hit the upright earlier in the game. 'Cats really NEED to work on their kicking. Also, what was up with all the unneccesary roughness towards our players that were being ignored by the refs? They weren't throwing out any flags for those! I think they were paid extra to help out AT... ::)

Both my Son and daughter swore in this year. My Son (18 in nov.) is in the 12 mo. delayed entry program and set to leave for boot camp july 2013 right after HS graduation, and my Daughter (19) will be shipping out in Feb 2013 after she finishes her Associate Degree. I am very proud of the choice they have both made! Now, if we can just "ship" someone else out of the WH in november.... ::) Ok, now back on topic....
