1. Yeah, I like that one better too. Breaks it down a lot better. Not just a general forecast for the entire day. Plus, I don't want to get wet myself...'cause I might melt!  :P
 2. [Hidden Content] Don't believe it will matter at all to either team. Just don't want any  lightning or funnel clouds...
 3.

Two more days and we'll know for sure. I can say personally tho, that after speaking with some of the players (and seeing them play every game last year and this year) that the Wildcats (and I) believe that they are already a much better team at this time than at any point during their last season playing both sides of the ball ... Time will tell.  :)
P/S/W I can also say I have talked to some of our players also, they are ready for the battle. And you are right 2 more days and the team who controls the ball and the clock with out turn overs will be the victor. But, win or loose both teams will know they have been in a battle. I would love for Nederland to come home with the win but, as long as both teams walk away with no serious injuries thats my main concern before district play starts
Agreed 100%. Gonna be a knock-down-drag-out. Just hope all players still remain healthy by the end of game. And whomever wins will def be the best team, at least for tomorrow.  ;D Also, I hope the storms hold off for gametime.. It's P!ss!ng rain sideways here right now..  :-\

 5.
Thanks for the info
Not a problem at all. Just want everyone to make the trip as safely as possible. :)
 6. This would be a good route if you don't mind tolls on beltway 8, and it would probably have the least amount of traffic. Only thing is there are a few lights to deal with when passing thru Pearland and Alvin: I-10 West to Beltway 8 South (then West) around to hwy 35 south, thru pearland and alvin down to fm523, then north (right) about ~2 miles. School will be on your left, stadium will be behind the school, at the end of campus drive which is the first light just past the school. (you can't miss it)
 7. [move]GO CATS, GO!!![/move] ;D  8) ;) :P :) 8)
 8. Yeah, come to think of it, the beltway (which requires paying a few tolls) will put you on 288 south of (a lot of) the southbound rush hour traffic. After that, you'll be looking for the Angleton, 288 business (south) exit, and follow 288B til you reach fm523 and then make a left there (south). You will then travel a little over a mile until you see the high school (and the stadium) on your right. Make a right @ the light just before the school and then you are there!
 9. Oh, well I guess you're right because we've got >1800 total. 2nd largest school in the division I think.
 10.
Is it best to go 610 to 288? I'll be there. I don't get off until 5 though so save me a seat!!
Assuming you will be coming from I-10 westbound....I-10 west to 610 south to 288 south. Or I-10 west to 59 south to 288 south. 288 south thru Pearland will be sssllllloooowww until at least beltway 8 in the afternoon. I won't lie to you, It (288 south) SUX that time of the day. Also there is a lot of parking. You just might have to walk a few blocks tho because it's pretty spread out.
 11. I'd say that's about right after that playoff game we had with y'all last year. I'm not surprised at all.  8) Do you think we'll meet up again this year?
 12. I'm sure that will make for a sweeeet halftime show too! I want to wish everyone who is traveling to Angleton a safe and careful drive to and from the game. We're looking foreward to a packed house! Also, we should pray for an Injury-free game for both teams because we know that this one will be a hard hitting playoff type game / atmosphere, and we will need all of our players to stay healthy for as much of the season as possible. Just a couple more days and it'll be on! ;D
 13.
Well its going to be tight it sounds Just Neds band has around 280+,  westernaires 36, plus flags and twirlers. So thats one whole section filled. From the buzz around Nederland it sounds like the last one out of town will need to turn the lights out.
Dang! Nearly 20% of the student body is in the band? That's a lot.
 14. You should've been @ the Angleton vs. Dawson playoff game last year. It was played @ The Rig in Pearland, and Angleton filled up the entire visitor's side, half of the HOME side, AND some small (temporary) stands that were placed outside one end zone. The rest (PART of the other half the home side) was filled with Dawson fans. It was GREAT!... Except for the part when Dawson won.  >:( I Hope we meet up again this year. If so, this time there will likely be a different outcome. :P
 15.
So taking out for the band and everyone else we will have around 2,800 seats left. I would suggest that everyone bring their antiperspirant,  it could be a little tight.
So, you're saying there are 400 band members / drill team?  :o I doubt it.
 16. I think that the two teams are well matched, and that it will be a close one for whoever wins this one. An excellent game for the fans to see for sure!
 17.
Well, based on that post, I will have to say: Angleton - 98 Nederland - 4 Late defensive stand by the Dogs against Angletons 4th team keeps them from hanging 100
LOL! I Like your optimism..  I mean, sarcasm. ::)
 18.

Nederland is good, no doubt, but will lose to this Angleton team by 2 td's.
Come on Soulja, 2 TDs? Have you ever picked Ned to win a tough game in FB or BB? Anything could happen of course, but when was the last time Ned lost by 2 TDs? You're gonna lose cred with those types of predictions!  :-\
Just FYI, Angleton put up more than 500 yds of offense and outscored a very strong 5A Brazoswood Buccaneer team by 6 TDs (okay, 5.9) last friday night at our home with only one turnover, and an otherwise mistake-free game. T.J. Austin, senior QB was also 100% on his passing with no int. The 'Cats D was responsible for many of those points because they were wreaking havoc, causing and recovering fumbles, and picked off three Int's which ALL ultimately resulted in scores for Angleton in one way or another. They looked MUCH better than they ever did in ANY of the 13 games that they won last year. Score at half time was 41-14  Final score was 69 - 28, and the only reason that B'wood was able to score 28 points is because our starters only played for the first 2 1/2 quarters. The rest of the game was played by the second and third string players. NED better make sure they have those jock straps on tight this friday 'cause they are gonna need 'em!  ;) It will be a good game no matter what the outcome tho, and whomever the win goes to should (and hopefully will) definitely receive the respect of the opposing team / school...Hope to see many 'Dogs fans make the game, and please drive safely.
 19.
Angleton will beat us 72-0. Nederland hasn't been able to stop the run all year.  ::)
Oh..... well, in that case, Cats win 147 to 31. LOL!  :P
 20. I'm biased. 'Cats win this one too. They looked better than ever last night IMO.  ;D
 21. Last night the Wildcats beat the Buccaneers by hanging 69 points on them! They had over 500 total yds on offense, mostly on the ground, the defense caused lots of turnovers, blocked one field goal and picked off of 3 interceptions. QB T.J. Austin was also 100% passing. The Bucs have NEVER (until yesterday) allowed an opponent to score 69 points since 1970. Final score was 69-28 'Cats! Hope to see many 'Dogs fans in our stands next friday night! It should be a really good game 'cause I know y'all play hard just like we do.  ;D  Please be safe driving to and from....
 22. Well, we will see what happens when the (5A) Brazoswood Buccaneers come to Angleton next friday. They dominated Westbury 29-0 last night. I don't know much about Westbury except that they are supposed to have a "strong" D-Line, but I'm pretty sure coach Roark will address what needs fixing in short order so the Cat's will be ready to take them (Bucs) down next week (like they have the past three years). If they don't make the appropriate adjustments now though, it may get ugly for the 'Cats real quick next game.  ;) The stats from last nights game say: total yds rushing- Montgomery= 33 rushes / 185 yds .                                                                              Angleton= 37 rushes / 253 yds     Kinda looks like Angleton D was the better of the two if we are judging by yds allowed. Don't get me wrong, the Bears are a great team, I give them much respect and I think that Angleton did well to win against them at their home despite some bad plays on the part of both teams. Good luck to the Bears on the rest of their season! I hope they have an injury free, winning season!
