I have to think that will be a big selling point, not many schools would make an offer to encourage playing both sports, totally deserved as well. Hope to see him in red and white fall 2017.

I thought I read round robin, meaning the team that wins the flip would simply be the first to sit while the other two play. But that all three teams play the other two once?

Lumberton and Nederland still have to play their last game, so Lumberton beat Nederland the first time doesn't mean anything.... yet.

Looks like the playoff spots are locked up and just playing for seeding, shouldn't be anything too crazy.

WOS and Dayton

We've been talking about this kid, JM letting the cat out the bag. He was hurt most of last year, but looked great against Lumberton in mop of the last game, had a couple of big plays in the New Caney playoff win, and took one to the house against the Ranch. And this isn't even the kid who gashed PNG, or Nguyen who also looked great running the ball. And... whoever totes it will be running behind a dominant offensive line with three returning starters, one of which should get D1 looks at tackle. Should we talk about the receiving Corp with two returning returning g starters and that doesn't count the J. JoHNson or Reid Garret. Should we started ticking off the defensive starters coming back as well??? Cupboard is anything but bare, we just win district championships over here... only chance folks have had is on these message boards... less GCM.

Past 5 years or so, Nederland would have to be in the discussion. Would love to see their win/loss %, district championships and playoff wins added up in Football, Basketball, Soccer, Track and Baseball over that period compared to the best in the area.

Nederland has a couple of "that players", Mayfield is one, the other you just didn't get to see much of him last year. That's not even counting Perkins who stretches the field like few in the area.

They did that to help you line up your excuses early this year. Last two years, Nederland ran the Ozen, Central, PNG gauntlent undefeated.. no excuses. Strap it up and play em.

don't know the order of district games, but I heard we may be scrimmaging Crosby, non district is WOS, Dayton, College Station. Wondering if the College Station game will be at a neutral site?

I think that would be tough with their 9 team district. Can scratch 21-5A as well. this will be an interesting fill. Maybe Angleton or someone from their 7 team district?
