Man what a tough break for Vidor. They announced the score at the Nederland game and Vidor was down a couple of touchdowns. But sounds like the boys never quit came back and had a shot to win it at the end. Way to fight to the end Vidor. Also congrats to Baytown Lee i know for many many years y’all have been the bottom of the barrel teams in district and have a couple winless seasons. Happy for those kids to get a win tho I’m sure it was a Senior night for those kids and to finish their football career with a hard fought win in that fashion.

So Nederland basically shuts down the passing game and takes that aspect away from him. Forces him to run the ball and cramp up takes so many shots and has gone 1-1 in MCM... interesting.

Barbers Hill is a great ball club you will see Friday but they lost QB1 so they might be different. WOS was a kids first start at QB and still pulled off the win. Anytime you go to WOS and win it’s a quality win. Santa Fe played us tough, very chippy game kinda like what y’all had against them on Friday from what I am hearing, but doesn’t matter we find ways to win. Nederland doesn’t usually ever just flat out blow out teams we run the ball, control the ball and chew up the clock and grind out the teams. Don’t agree to it, but I can’t complain we find ways to win. And we are undefeated. If it’s not broke don’t fix it type of thing. The dogs are young all over field.

Nederland were underdogs and built a possible championship season over hard work, dedication, and determination. They set goals every season and one has been met making the playoffs. Two are in reach Beat PNG and win a district Championship. They won’t over look Crosby for PNG, it’s senior night at Bulldog Stadium those seniors want to end their career on a high note. Barrow and a strong leadership senior class keeps them focused for Friday. Nuff said.
