For Nederland to make it to the 3rd round we gotta play the best game we have had all season against Marshall in round 2 if we get there of course. They are 8-2 but two losses against a two beast squads Carthage and Longview. Marshall can easily win the region. TBH I have them playing FB Marshall in the quarterfinals. Willowridge has a QB that can run the read option well. From what I can see we have to keep him in the pocket and contain. Force him to pass play to our strength. The grass will slow down their offense. I’m sure playing in that district all games were played on turf. We will see how they adjust to it Hopefully our offense gets going and stays hot, establish the run game early.

Hutto vs McCallum Thurday night Friday night Nederland vs Northside. First playoff game at home in a very long time, wish I knew the exact year....

With Lumberton dropping down I really expected more from them. I know that’s not the case when a team drops down that doesn’t automatically mean Championships but I thought they would have finished better. I’m glad they are more at a competitive point now compared seasons past where they were bottom feeder and lot of teams homecomings. They have had many many tough years with very little successful years. Same goes to LCM y’all used to struggle majority of the time when y’all were up since dropping down it looks like y’all are having a lot more success and making the playoffs more consistently now. Glad to see both teams are making the playoffs. Both of y’all always had athletes on the field just were out nunbered and maned sometimes. Wish y’all both successful playoff runs during the playoffs.
