But I have to admit up front, I'm riding the Bronco's all the way and hope they have no injuries as well as all the teams in the area. I gotta feeling there's gonna be a lot of good football and trash talking this year. Woke up this morning my itch was gone, must be time for some football. :wub: :wub: :wub:

Livingston had some good teams. Had several powerful running backs and some beefy O-lines. Key for them was who was orchestrating the offense at QB. The Defenses killed them though. For a team that could burn some clock, they gave up way to many points during their time in 20-4A.

Can't wait, getting ready to teach my new truck the routes to Beaumont,Dayton, and Humble. Told my wife we are looking at a divorce if she thinks I'm driving to College Station to watch what Livingston will be putting on the field.  Told her I'll drive her to every one of my grand daugther's basketball games, but no way I'm giving up watching great football. A man got to draw the line somewhere, even if it's outdoors in the dog house. :D  :D SETX FOOTBALL.............

All of us "arm chair quarterbacks"  know that the games are won or lost in the trenches. You could have Marshawn Lynch in your back field, but with no blocking you ain't going anywhere. O-line is the key to any good running attack.  go  panthers !!

Now I see how the term  "ARM CHAIR QUARTERBACKS" came into existence.  :D

You do playaction passes. More than likely, if a team is stuffing the run, they have more in the box, which mean there should be an advantage somewhere in the secondary. BTW, I've seen several well balanced teams that's won state or had a deep playoff run not running the spread.

BTW, Ozen's deep playoff run was mostly due to a REALLY good QB by the name of David Green III...

Truth is from what I'm finding out as I do more research, I don't think he'll be able to translate to the kids. Hope I'm wrong, time will tell, I'll know for sure this time next year. No HC experience, a -1 because he's no Foreman, I'll hold the other - to myself and give him a plus 1 for being AD/HC. I'm sorry, but the odds are against him, he better be a great communicator and be real, or it will be over before he gets started. Good Luck to him. :D

I don't get it either, but this is a strange school board we have right now. Let's see what he does the next 3 years, with next year being a freebe, time will tell if they made the right choise. :D  :huh:
