  1. It should end up BC vs WOS for the two top spots; with everything below--up for grabs for the remaining teams.... I see BC as running away with the District toward the end of the year and again having a good run in the playoffs.
  2. I really enjoyed the whole Tourney....congrats of Evadale, you have a great 1A team; destined to be the Regional 1A Champions. What an unusual Tourney setting with the only 1A and 3A there-- ending up playing for the championship. Great games, especially for BC--the new Coach Gordon Fontaine for BC has taken a basketball program that for four years was totally collapsed and has begun a for-sure recovery for a hapless program.  Hopefully, by the end of the season BC will be at least "competitive". Fun Tourney, congrats to Evadale for whipping the 2As and one 3A that were playing in the Tourney    ;D
  3. What a good season for the short girls....it took the Regional Champs to take them out of the Bracket play, just like last year.  Good luck to Columbus, you certainly were the best team BC played all season!  Go upset Lucus Lovejoy at the State Tourney.
  4. Woodville had a pretty good team; hard to take-out by a 2A....congrats Hardin--go win it!    lol
  5. Wow, Looks like Columbus plays Lucus Lovejoy in the first game of the State tourney.  Lovejoy is the #1 team.....They(uil) changed the schedule so that Lucus Lovejoy would play Wimberley #2 in the final game. Big Question, can Columbus bust Lovejoys #1 rating in the first game up there?
  6. As I understand it Liberty played BCs JV-- all the Volleyball girls who also start for the Basketball team were given a week off after the VB bracket play....
  7. I enjoyed the State VB Tourney again last season; but will not go back.  It was apparent that the top teams were chosen towns near big cities that STACKED all the best club girls on a lower enrollment High School program-- mostly done by affluent parents. They could not help but win with teams made of great club players from a large geographic area.
  8. Columbus is loaded---best consistent Setter I have seen this season! They will be a good representative to the State Champ Tourney.
  9. Bridge City 3 Liberty 1........ to play Columbus at Conroe-Park Central Thursday night.

  12. It will start happening sooner or later.....WO-S is not a giant 3A enrollment any more. They will start getting beat some in the coming years......remote possibility this year......good possibility next year! Should be an interesting game Saturday night.
  13. BC will win it this year and/or next.  BC has four good backs that are Juniors.
  14. I was amazed how the Tigers held the BC scoring down tonight.  Ball control semi-worked for the Tigers tonight.
  15. Southeast Tx border is the Trinity River and the Sabine River.
  16. I agree, Huffman-Hargrave has a good team and excellent passer....they will hang with Coldspring and with enough caught passes; have the possibility of an upset!
