Just wanted to send out prayers and thoughts from the Silsbee Community and High School to the Shadow Creek Families.
Tragedy struck their football team and community Friday night with the sudden loss to one of their own.
I know that Silsbee will be hosting Shadow Creek on Sept 30. so please keep them and their families
in your hearts and minds while they grieve and begin the healing process.

Anyone who knows Mackey, knows that he has a way of being larger than life.
"The Hair Dude" will fit in immediately, for obvious reasons.
Though I did hear going to Evadale is coming at a price.....

If you think the kids don't monitor this site, My 10th grader just called me, told me there was a post about Mackey and asked me to ban anyone who says "Evadale sucks"...........lol

Doesn't put his business on social media very often, if at all.  Some could and should follow his lead.

That statement really depends on how Silsbee does. He might enjoy himself having a run at a State title with Evadale......who knows? 
My Son sure enjoys it.

Who's saying he's not a competitor? So athletes that play on a small school level not competitors? Tell that to the Canadian HC, Bremond HC, Newton HC, Waskom HC. I guess those players should transfer to a 4A or higher level to be a competitor.

We have kids that are big and fast not your typical 2A athletes,  my son being one of them! And I knew as soon as I heard that Mackey was coming to Evadale,  the jokes about playing at 2A were gonna come pouring in on this website, because it's all about 4A & 5A on here. But whatever like I said if you big school people have a off week come watch us you might be surprised! I just think it's rude to down a bunch of kids you know nothing about! 

Lmao!!!  Catching 12-15 passes for over 150-200 yards versus SP in one half of action probably wont have him feeling any kind of sting. You know what would be hilarious here with this situation: Evadale having a longer playoff run than Silsbee due to Mackey. 

Payback though for last season.. Gotta restart that winning tradition for the Broncos against yall. (Insert mad face)If we get yall in the playoffs.. I say all this with love... Gotta love the purple..

Well , I guess they need something to brag about, they sure can't brag about beating Ned or PNG , or making the playoffs, or having a winning district record, or a overall winning record for that matter.

Good job Vidor...now you will have a nice view of the final score when PN-G beats you in Vidor...last season's 50-7 PN-G win would look good on that jumbotron.  I'm guessing Nederland fans had the same first thought re: Ned @ Vidor and your new jumbotron.  Seriously, nice job VISD.
