What's Jamazdon Powell's status? Is he expected to play this season or is it pretty much over for him at this point?

For future references, his first name is actually spelled "Tramaine"

I was simply referencing a "discussion" Dove and I have had on this board a few times regarding the reasons behind kids transferring schools within Southeast Texas.

[/quote] After reading this, you bring up a good point. What happens when a 3A team wins a State Championship and then drops to 2A the next year and wins another State Championship. Were they not playing "REAL" basketball when they simply on changed "classifications?"

Comical. I said nothing about him not starting. He will start wherever he goes in SE Texas. Maybe my post is a little too deep for you. Think about the Miami Heat's Big 3 (Bosh, Wade, James). On a team full of good players, it is only logical that someone's stats will suffer....

If he goes to Ozen he'll be lucky to make the All-District team. No slight to his talent, but that team will be filled with good players and on a team like that your touches are very slim.

Bottom line. Coaches NOMINATED these players. Maybe these same COACHES saw something you don't see.  ;)

Transferring to Beaumont, or anywhere is SE Texas for that matter, won't solve the problem. Dove and I touched on this a few weeks back....
