What "exposure" advantage do you have playing at either Silsbee or H-J versus playing at Kountze? From what I can remember, the majority of the players from all 3 schools to earn scholarships in the past have gone the JUCO route. Correct me if I'm wrong. You get your "exposure" on the AAU circuit playing with "elite" teams in the major summer tournaments.

You forgot about Xavier Barnes (#25). Solid post player. As good as Arnold is now, I still think he'll come off the bench at the start of the season to back up D. Harper, who will be a Senior next year.

Nice! Congrats to the MVP Laramie Linn and the other Lions representing Kountze on the All-district team. Harper as a freshman is a special player and I'm excited to see what role he plays next year. Can't remember the last freshman from Kountze to make the all-district team. Hopefully Powell recognizes what he did to his team by not being available when they needed him and continues to focus, even harder, on his academics. Got to come back bigger, stronger, faster and SMARTER next year!
