Did some thinking last week about the "dominant" teams in the area and what makes them dominant. Couldn't remember some things about a few "dominant" teams so I'm going to ask general question; Going back to the turn of the century (2000-present), when is the last time the following teams either won or participated in the State Tournament: Silsbee: Hardin - Jefferson: Kountze: 2000, 2002, (2004), (2005), (2007) Ozen: Nederland:

Only a 14 point win by Kountze. Earlier this week we blew them out by 40+ at their place. The addition of Harper (Ozen) and Powell finally stepping up has played a factor.

Kountze has improved tremendously since the end of December. I'll take them by 15+ at home.

Crockett's second district loss of the season. I think they've been without one of their star players, Dominique Wheeler, who missed all of last week preparing to play in the US Army All-American Bowl on Saturday. Could be wrong though.
