  1. Here are truths..   up untill a couple of years ago, the only team keeping your district above water was Dayton.

Vidor took you to the woodshed.  They aren't/wasn't known as a powerhouse

    You are 0fer vs. Central

If you lose before making the title game, your season was a failure.

When your talent dries up again, your coach will take that next 6a job.  What will you do?

    You struggled with Humble.

Precise and direct Soulja,  could not have put it any better myself. MECCA --Please !

They call it  "truth bombs"   I call it , Getting a Shot in while you can because you know its gonna end soon !

  2. They did in fact put several for sale signs in his front yard. It's really sad that some "adults" would harass a Christian man with a wife & 2 young children, who obviously care's about the players.

I stayed for the presentation! I can see our players not wanting to watch Nederland take over their field. I saw Morse was the last one off the field. Nederland Coaches were talking to him and shaking his hand.

Glad MCM is behind us and we can focus on the rest of the season and playoffs. Good Luck the rest of the way!

Childish.  1 district loss and they are ready to burn him at the stake because it was the rivalry game. Careful people, its been my experience in all my years that you may not like what you get when you get what you want !

  3. Well, another classic MCM...glad to see the Dogs put up their 6th consecutive win...I have to admit that I enjoy it quite a bit!!

On a more serious note, hats off to the png kids for fighting back and playing hard...I realize that a loss like this is hard to take, but you cannot fault the effort...things just are not going their way right now and that happens in sports...those png fans that want to criticize the coaches and put "for sale" signs in the coaches yard; you need to get a life!!! I am pretty confident that this game is more important to those men than it is to you...also wanted to commend the Indian Spirit for staying for the trophy presentation...definitely not necessary or expected, but very classy move...and for those fans of ours complaining about png players not hanging around for the presentation, get over it!  I have no problem with that either.

Now, that's about as nice as I can be to png and that's enough of that!  Congrats again to the Dogs...there is a grit and toughness to this program that separates them from the rest in this area right now...one district loss in 5 years is the proof of that...as I said before, it's a good time to be a Nederland Bulldog!

Well said Razor, well said !

  4. Dogs should have capitalized on PNG's early mistakes and could have had the 30 points in the first half. However, this is MCM and it is why this game is known outside the area.

Was anyone able to see the PNG interception in the end zone? I thought it hit the ground from where i was. Did the ball stay on top of a player without hitting the ground and he scooped it off him? Only thing I can figure. The replay was not conclusive for me. Thanks.

Watched the replay, ball never touched the ground. From where I was sitting I would......well I did call be. But video doesn't lie, one of the ONLY good calls last night.  They were smelling fertilizer all night with where their heads were at !!!!

  5. I just finished watching the 20 minute documentary on YouTube. Very nicely put together by all involved. It truly depicts the importance of the rivalry in the great history behind it. Both schools have a lot to be proud of. I recommend watching it if you haven't already. My only question is… why are most of Nederland's highlights in color and PNG's are only in black and white? Just kidding Indian fans. Looking forward to a great game once again tonight!

Because you can only take so much Purple & White !  :)

or you can get them for 25.00 here.

The thing is , as a true fan of THIS game. If I were not going for some insane reason, like they are fitting me for a coffin or something. I wouldn't sell my tickets, I would give them to someone who I knew really needed them.  Selling them  = I don't like you very much. Selling a $5 high school game ticket for $25 = well I cant put that on here.

  7. Well the good news is that I handed all my Participant ribbons out last week to the whole community of Lumperton... And they greatly appreciated it... This week I'm only handing out 1 thing...... If things don't work out how I like, I will be looking for a place in seclusion to sulk like a baby for a few weeks.. I might need a few cases of Kleenex as well..... And at the end I sure hope i dont end up with a bad case of the Crouts......:)

The Crouts  has no known cure, your likely to come down with it Friday night at , say 9 or 9:30

  8. I agree, leave the game alone and in MC.

Move the game, move the money, lose the interest , lose the flare of the game. People don't get it. Part of what made the game what it is today is not just the game, it was waiting in line to get a ticket , sometimes not being able to get a ticket. Getting to the game early so hopefully you don't have to park in Nederland when its in PN. Knowing for a fact that the goofball in front of you 2 rows down has got to be from the other side ( what the

) Those whining and complaining about not being able to get tickets - boo hoo  hoo I cant see my little johnny play, well should have fiqured  out how the games works long before little johnny hit high school.  I did, and I have my tickets EVERY year and haven't missed a single game my son has played in.

To quote Stattrax  " in my best JT voice----cry me a river , cry me a riverrrrrrrrrr !
