2. How did Menard and the receivers look on the passing plays?
 3. Did anybody see the Bridge City / Lumberton scrimmage this morning. I would like to know how the two teams did. Thanks.

I'm determined to keep that in my mind and to live up to that. That is a goal of mine. I want to do what he did." I thought PNG did a good job with conveying the tradition & history of the program.  Harmon was a good back not doubt and I hope he does great a LU, but claiming he is the standard bearer with the Jeff "the Jet" Bergeron having been a HS All American is hard for me to see.
Jeff the Jet graduated a long time ago. Bertrand wasn't even born yet. It would take a historian to know all the good running backs in PNG's history.

You got several game before we come the bear country. 2. Maybe you can contend with a playoff team when you make the playoffs. LCM Bears do not let your guard down cause when the indians come to your house there will be no mercy and you will get to hear cherokee over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ;D
The game is at the Res this year buddy.
Every two years when the realignment takes place the game site is redone. The game can be scheduled at the same stadium two years in a row. Next year the game will be at LCM. Then reallighment again and the scheduling starts all over again. It could very well start the cycle at LCM after the next realignment.
 6. It sounds like H F will be much better this year. No one should take them lightly.
 7. Good encouraging article. Gets me even more excited to get the sean started.
 8. What a  young age to leave us. May God bless him and his family.
 9. Orangefield was good last year. Better than their record. I know they lost their quarterback but I am not sure of who else. If they have some good starters back and a quarterback steps it up then they will be good again this year.
 10. I see that Lamar has picked up two of the all stars. I hope Lamar does well in its first year.
 11.
This could make for an exciting season at BC
BC actually had an exciting season last year. The best one yet under the new coach and offense. They played Silsbee close and well against WOS. They eeked by a good Orangefield team and beat a pretty good HJ team. I look for them to make the play offs again this year and maybe even push for second place. Only time will tell.
 12. I have a good friend that is a big time Newton fan and he said they will be very good this year. He also says that Kirbyville will be loaded this year. Look for a good game. He thinks the edge will go to Kirbyville but only time will tell.

No matter if they came in first or fourth. If that is true then if Central, or Nederland, or Vidor get in the play offs then one of them would go DI and PNG would go DII assuming they get in the play offs also.
True, but remember, there is 2 d1 spots and 2 d2 spots.
I thought that there were 2 teams in each division but wasn't sure. Thanks.
 14. I vote for testing. Even if not many kids are guilty of using. All the local industries test their employees and it has kept a lot of people drug free. So maybe many of the kids are steriod free because of the fear of being caught. A kid can be influenced easily into using steriods if he thinks he has a chance to get a big scholorship. But the chance of being caught because of testing and loosing any chance of a scholorship could keep him/her off of steriods.

 16. When will the countdown to the first game go up as a sticky?

He's just a hs kid learning how to talk to and deal with the media.  It's actually our paper you should blame.  They posted something about a couple of people, (not sure if they were players, parents or fans) who were saying, "Brenham's about baseball, not football...bring on Angleton.  They even lost to Waller two weeks ago.". He was prolly reacting to that, and a couple of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties y'all had at the end of the game.  He was wrong, but you live and you learn.(especially at 16 years old) Personally, I love the pride and tradition PNG has and have the upmost respect for your school.  I apologize on behalf of Brenham, if Schlottmann's comments affended anybody.
BrenhamFan good post. You sound like a class act.

Wasn't he the short running back that has some serious speed?
Yup what BCgrad05 he has moved for reasons that cannot be told on here, and yes that kid has some serious speed,, they have some young runningbacks to fafill the position. And yes i see Menard being a tebow kind of guy on and off the feild  ;D
Who are these young running backs? What is their experience and how do they stack up with Cale Hyde.
 19. I don't know. Maybe someone can enlighten us. Did Menard play in 7 on 7?
 20. Bridge City had a great running back last year. I believe his name is Matt Menard. I understand he will be the new quarterback for the cardinals this year. Has he ever played qb before? How is he looking.
 21. I am not sure of who should be ahead of who, but I have been told many times by Newton fans that Kirbyville will be real good this year.
