Tough deal for both teams on the 2 hour rain delay.  You wonder how it affected them.  Play restarts with Longview at midfield.  They throw 3 passes for 0 yards and turned it over on downs.  

I thought this was the year for Longview.   They were shutdown in the 2nd half.  They did have a costly fumble in Aledo territory.   Congrats to Aledo for making it to State again.  

Get er done while you can. 

It looks like their might be a window soon, according to the radar I’m looking at.  

Doesn’t a game have to completed by midnight.  Don’t know about a State SemiFinal

I won’t be shocked.  I saw what they did last night.  They will be prepared and they can beat SOC, just like they beat LBJ, FBM, and LH.   I think they will finish it.  The school support was amazing in Katy.  Hope it’s a sea of purple in Arlington.

I thought it would be Katy vs Guyer at State.  May be neither.  Guyer losing at the half.

Thank goodness Crosby moved up so we could watch PNG tonight against LH.  Very Impressive game.  PNG didn’t make any mistakes.  No turnovers.  Domination.  Sorry the Punter didn’t get to play.  

It will be a completely different offense to prepare for, but I’m sure PNG will be ready.   I expect this game to go to the wire, similar to that Crosby/LH 2020 5th round classic.  I’ll call it a Toss-up.

Oh yea.  Branch, Herman, etc.  The 2020 dream team season won’t be forgotten.  The LH defense was anticipated to be porous, but it wasn’t in that game.

Liberty Hill dominated Crosby last year 42-14.  No one saw that coming.  It won’t be easy for PNG.  Should be a very exciting game.  

So, Crosby, BH, and PNG have all now taken out FB Marshall the last 3 years.

Crosby played Liberty Hill over in Bryan the last 2 years.  Stadium may not be big enough though.

Randall Reed seats about 8,000 ?  What would be the expected attendance?  

I always buy at the gate.  I don’t have to pay the inconvenience fee and if I can’t go for some reason, I don’t lose money.  I’m sure PNG will have a great crowd if the weather is good.

At least PNG has seen FB Marshall and knows what to expect, unlike Lake Creek who wasn’t quite ready for that challenge.  PNG can certainly hang in there.  I’m sure adjustments will be made and they have a chance at the upset if they play a great game.  But, I’ll take the Buffs 45-28.  

Crosby has beaten them 2 straight so maybe ask them.

I saw Jerry Ball play for Hebert back in the 1980 playoffs.  He was a Soph.  Still have the program.
