I think the Randle RB has offers from Georgia and Bama.  Randle is good enough to be in a Region Final.  But they will have to get past FBM first.

I would say that Districts 9 and 10 are very comparable.  I think both Districts are very good.  The Montgomery vs Lake Creek deal is a Montgomery ISD rivalry that defies logic.  The last 2 years, those games have been nuts.

Taking Lumberton by a TD.  Should be a good 1st round game. 

Well Bellville probably should win this game by 3-4 TD’s on paper.  But WOS is usually quite the dog fight for them.  Last year. A 5-5 WOS team gave them all they could handle. So here we go again: 5-5 vs. 10-0.  I’ll take Bellville, but not by much.  

Forney almost beat Longview.  Jack rabbits run wild over PAM 34-20. 

Don’t fall asleep on the Lancaster 5-5 record.  You’ve got a live road team here and this might be a nail biter.  I’ll take Lancaster 35-31.  

Hard to pick this game but it should be a good one.  FBM only scored 28 points against its other 3 district playoff teams, while Randle scored 121 against its other 3 district playoff teams.

This came could go either way. It’s not easy to pick against FBM.  It could be a low scoring game, but Randle has scored at least 30 in every game.  I’ll take Randle 26-21. 

Not sure which Huntsville team shows up.  The one that played well against Lake Creek and Brenham, or the one that dropped a turd against Randle.

If the Huntsville offense can’t move the ball and the defense stays on the field all night, it will be a repeat of last weeks 35-6 game against Randle or look just like the Texas City/Nederland 29-7 game

I’ll say Huntsville plays much better, but Texas City wins 27-20.  

Brenham can put some points on the board and will probably stay in this one.  PNG will need to ignore the 5-5 record and come to play.  I’ll take PNG 38-27. 
 

I think Barbers Hill wins 30-21.  They probably have the best chance of all the District teams to advance.  

Nederland kept it close against FBM. They lost 41-16 to PNG and I think you will see a similar score against Lake Creek. 

Good luck with that 200 pound RB from Lake Creek.

Last years matchup was a win or go home game.  Huntsville won and Randle stayed home.  Once again, this game means something.  It looks like loser goes to TC and winner may host FBM.  I’ll be tuning in as well.

No, different QB.  Current QB is a Jr.

One thing about Brenham, they are always in the playoffs.  This is not your typical 4 seed.  I wouldn’t relax at the site of their likely 5-5 record after they play Lake Creek this weekend.  They did beat a good 6A playoff team Oak Ridge.  They lost to a ranked Belton squad and District 10 is very solid this year.  They can beat you if you aren’t ready to play.

Brenham is going to score some points.  Good QB and receivers.  They can score quickly. They have a phenomenal freshman RB.  He went out with an ankle injury on the first drive against Huntsville.  Not sure of his status going forward.

Me too!!  I spent my whole life thinking it was a bear until a few years ago.

Yes.  Good first round game. This was a 3rd round matchup at NRG last year.
