I wonder if he brings the same offense with him that he has ran at Brock?
That is an interesting question.
I think they will base out of the wing-T for sure, that is the smash mouth brand of football Chad believes in.
But, they may have more versatile athletes in El Campo, so he may be may be more open to other schemes.

Tradition and expectations as well as confidence.
These are players traits.
But the key, IMO, is talent, continuity of scheme, good coaching and great leadership from the top down.

Roberts with his 4th TD
35-14 Aledo :42 2nd
Ball game?
Yes, it is over.
Crosby will not get a stop unless Aledo lets them.

A TD by Aledo right before half will be devastating to Crosby. Aledo gets the ball to start the 2nd half.
TD here by Aledo and it's church.

Crosby has done a marvelous job to get here. Lord they have one of the worse tackling team i have ever seen.lord I see why they have been has in shoot outs.they have more athletes than aledo.
Demarco Roberts and JoJo Earle are great equalizers though, these two Aledo athletes are pretty special.

Oh that was a really bad pass. No reason for that when he could have ran for the 1st
Getting pulled down from behind, by his hair (braids), on the play before had an effect on his decision not to run.

JoJo is pretty legit
Maybe an understatement.

That was a gift, but Crosby has been making the most of opponents mistakes all playoffs.

How did he catch that?

Alabama signee....

Very nice opening drive.
Aledo did not realize Crosby was that fast or that good.
-
Very excited for the kids and happy for Crosby.
Good luck Coogs!!!

Good luck to James, I hope he does well.
If he has a QB that can sling it and a few kids that can run quality routes and catch then they will score some points.

Ok, I give. The band director will be placed as acting AD and Head Football coach until further notice. They may not win many games, but their new formations will be the talk of the district!
Well done, well done.
I had heard it was the janitor, but.....

I have some news, I just feel hesitant about posting it.
Don't be coy.

Yea, it sucks. It may keep your games closer but it doesn't spark evolution in a football program.
It is a bit depressing to know before the season ever starts that you will never score more than 21 points, never see the ball in the air more than 3 times in a game and know beyond a shadow of a doubt your best athletes will never play on offense.

Sure, sounds like a start.

Pete Medlock isn’t it?
I really don't know.
Was just thinking that would be a direction that Lumberton might go.
Or, wasn't the head coach at Tarkington an offensive coach at PNG? He might be interested.

Are you just now noticing that it's intentionally off base ? I think everyone else is aware of it
Yes Pho, it is obvious to most that your disdain for the slot-t is is palpable.
Lumberton is not taking that step, they see themselves as a PNG type program, I think that will be the model they follow.
Who is the Offensive Coordinator at PNG?

Anybody have a list of SETX players that signed today?

Is a hire imminent?

You can win a state championship without an elite coach.
But you are not even winning a District championship without a couple elite players.
