So very true. Do those coordinators have to deal with:

1. Community and athlete "buy in"

2. Limited resources

3. Average to below average athleticism

4. Lack of commitment

5. Small, inexperienced staff

Rarely, do guys like that turn around a program like Lumberton.

Coldsprings most dominant player went out in the first quarter against Tarkington and did not return.

These games were cancelled because of financial reason. The company putting on the game could not financially take the chance that there would not be attendance or sponsorship for the games, or that they might be cancelled at the last minute after numerous man hours and financial commitments had been made.

Not a single coach has ever won a state championship without talent. It just does NOT happen.
