First, this LONG thread has both positive and negative post on it. It has NOTHING (JMO) to do with WOS, it's about the situation and how it WAS handled and how it SHOULD have or COULD have been handled. The only negative post I have seen is on the girls that left their team. I think WOS has a great football program, but I'm starting to think the WOS fans are WAY to emotional. :'( Starting to think? You should have come to me sooner hippy. I could have clued you in. ;D

But Gabe said last night that he had reported of a forfeit last year by another team for a similar reason. I hate to have to go back and read all these pages to find the post. Page 6 or 7, somewhere along there. Gabe reported of the baseball situation between Hamshire-Fannett and Bridge City. It's probably in last year's baseball forum.

Not sure what kind of teams. This is not a tournament, but a 1 game classic. Don't know what team will be paired against Silsbee.

From the volleyball coaches that I have spoken to this week, they play their games and then go to the football game, regardless of where it is or where they are.

Oh no, no, no. I spoke of losing Prentice when he went down in the district game against Orangefield. I knew that he would be missed mainly from a defensive standpoint. He was our best perimeter defender, no denying that. He also was the only player on the Tiger team besides Shannon that could create his own shot. Didn't need to be set up. I spoke of that throughout the rest of the season.

No, but they did miss Prentice Lane in that game. He injured his knee a couple of games prior to that 2nd game with HJ. Silsbee really could have used him in that game and also the playoff games. He helped control Jarvis in that first game at HJ. They really missed his defense. It's nice having a '6"2-'6"3 guard out on the perimeter to defend.

Chris Davis?? Is that the plump kid that rained three's for HJ a few years back? ;D

But you don't understand, LAZEEK, I have gotten the guarentee of several of the Silsbee players that they will not lose to HJ this season. They promised me that I would not be disappointed. ;D Of course this was a promise made after their game with HJ at Silsbee's summer tourney that Silsbee won by 18. Could have been very misleading. ;D

To quote Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, " You will lose". ;D

I can't wait for tomorrow night. I always look forward to this game. Silsbee/Jasper rivalry always gets my memories a going.

Next week, Gabe knows better to wear the shirt you guys are speaking of up in the pressbox at Silsbee. He'll get thrown out on his rear. ;D
