  1. Silsbee will be first or second, not third. :
  2. As for some items to be auctioned, I will bring an Astros hat and a baseball signed by Roger Clemens and a Master's pin flag signed by Jose Maria Olazabal, 1999 Master's Champ. I'll have a few more items also.
  3. Nuff said. Thanks Nos.
  4. Bleed, I may not know everything about Orangefield basketball, but I know something about it, not nothing as you say I do. I not only keep up with Silsbee basketball but the area as well. With that said, I'll always defer to someone who I know has more knowledge of a subject than me.
  5. Bottom line, Lamar is just too small at the guard position to compete with the better programs in the country. Also, Lamar is not big enough inside to be a shoe-in for a top seed in conference tourney. Roc has to get bigger players on the perimeter.
  6. That's three quarterbacks in this first year signing. I am curious if he'll sign anymore.
  7. Craig Stump was a quarterback at Texas A&M.
  8. If it takes fans 'spark' this team what are we paying the coaches for? And if you or anyone else feel so strongly about my presence being needed at these games, get the district or UIL or whoever to let the girls and guys play their games at the same place. I think they tried that one year a few years back. This game made us better even it it is a loss...I'm sure the coaches..fans..saw things that need to be worked on and you see those kind of things when you are in a closer game rather than blowing out teams. Aggie take your heart medication before you read what is below.. Orangefield is going to split with Silsbee ;D I know you meant that in jest. BTW, I see where some of you keep referencing the fact that Kelly beat Ozen but fail to mention some of the games that Kelly lost. You can't be one-sided. Yes, they did beat Ozen(how they did that I'll never know) but more importantly they lost to two of Orangefield's district rivals, Silsbee and HJ. I think those results have more significance in relation to the Bobcats.

  15. I got blasted for calling out our weak schedule, they're going to hang you for calling out actual players! If you go back and look at my live updates of that Orangefield-HJ game, I kind of mentioned the fact that Hayes was not much of a threat in that game. He seemed very frustrated and down.
  16. Right, Silsbee played Clear Creek, not Clear Lake. But what CATMAN and I are disputing is that Clear Creek has a lot of basketball tradition. They do not, it's Clear Lake that has that tradition.
  17. you mean CLEAR LAKE dont you I was going to say that myself. Clear Lake has the tradition, not Clear Creek.
  18. and my point Bobcat05 is that Orangefield should be past the point of being congratulated for losing a game by 9 points to Kelly. I saw the Bobcats play HJ in the EC tourney, and quite frankly I was disappointed in Orangefield. I was expecting more from them. I can imagine you were disappointed if the only game you've seen OF play was the HJ game, because it was definitely a poor effort on their part. Now if the only game you saw them play was the Liberty Hill game the night before, you would have a lot different opinion. Liberty Hill was a really good team, if they wouldnt have given up the lead late to Kelly, theres no doubt they were good enough to win that tournament. My point is, I wouldnt form an opinion of the team based on one game, especially that one. I think OF will play HJ a little closer than that next time they play (at least i hope so). Actually, I saw them play the 4th quarter and overtime of that game. I also saw them play a couple of other games in the EC tourney, Tarkington and Brazos. Like I said, I was disappointed. They did play well against Liberty Hill, even though Hayes kind of hit a prayer to send it to overtime. The Bobcats played not so good against Tarkington.
  19. I see, Aggie is just trying to start trouble ;D : Busted! ;D
