Hardin-Jefferson and East Chambers are building new ones. Kountze just finished their's this year, it's nice. I imagine Port Arthur Memorial will have a new one next year also.

I will be back down in Beaumont Tuesday night broadcasting another Silsbee Tiger basketball game as they will take on the Kelly Bulldogs. Silsbee took down Kelly in an earlier matchup, 83-61. The Tigers have struggled of late and the Bulldogs look to continue the Tigers' woes. Silsbee is on a 3 game losing streak and have actually lost 4 of their last 7. Kelly has played better since the Tigers blew them out, getting a win over state ranked 4A Ozen and also over state ranked 2A Newton. This should be a lot closer game than the first one. It's quite obvious, you do not or choose not to see the point. Winning has nothing to do with it. Of course unless you are a BH fan. I have been around quite some time, I have seen my fair share of tournaments, all over Texas. Like I said before, the host team usually gets a LITTLE bit of an advantage when it comes to the brackets. You guys have taken it way overboard on the advantage, more than these eyes have ever seen. And I would have to say, I have seen at least over a 100 of them.

Using your logic............next year invite 101 teams then put 100 in the bottom and BH in the top and go have a great tourney--hey its just practice anyway so why rig it? That's exactly what I was thinking, Diamond-J. It's just practice. : These Hill guys can spin it how they want to, it doesn't take a trained eye to see how lopsided the brackets were.

That is our goal, just like every year. But sometimes winning district is not always the best road in the playoffs. Why it is like that, I have no ideal. But this year it is an advantage for the first time in a long time. For onething if you win district you have a bye. I would rather play and stay sharp. I hate a bye. Maybe after the Lady Bobcats win district, they can schedule a warm up game with my Silsbee Tigers to keep them sharp. I am guessing you are talking about the boys. The boys would not be focused on the game. ;D ;D ;D We tried to play a warm-up game last year and no one would play us. Also, "Aggie" what would you do without a message board? Probably drive your wife insane, if you are married. I drive my wife insane with one. Yes, I meant the boys, and right, they would not be too focused on the "game". My wife is actually a member here on the site. I drove her crazy before this site was ever around. After almost 20 years of marriage, I need another outlet. She gladly kicks me out of the house to go and broadcast games for this site. But, she knew who she was marrying to begin with, an ex-athlete, sports fanatic. We are both a like, except I have been married 25 years make it 26 in April. ;D I like hearing that couples stay married. Your wife and mine are lucky, they married good men. : : That is the understatement of the year! ;D
