It's funny you should mention that. The Beaumont Enterprise started a couple of weeks ago not putting the whole article on their website. They put about a third to a half of it, usually what is on the front page, and anything else gets left out. They do have a comment stating that if you want to read the rest of the article, you can by reading the paper itself.

That's my point. It's apples and oranges. The YMBL has no 3A or below teams.

3A and under YMBL won't hold a candle to this tournament!!!! That's true. But the YMBL dropped the two different class levels a couple of years ago. Now it's every man for himself. They included the girls in the tourney now. Did not know that. Still the lowere level teams in that tourney won't even be close. These were the teams that played in the YMBL last year: G1: West Brook - BYE G2: Nederland vs. South Oak Cliff - Noon (Montagne) G3: Ozen vs. St. Pius - 5pm (Ozen HS) G4: Central vs. Westbury Christian - 1:30 (Montagne) G5: Vidor vs. Aldine - 3 (Montagne) G6: Aldine Eisenhower vs. Marshall - 4:30 (Montagne) G7: PA Memorial vs. Harker Heights - 6 (Montagne) G8: North Shore vs. Walker-NOLA - 7:30 (Montagne) I would not consider any of these teams lower level schools. All are 4A and above.

Skipper, according to this post of your's, you state that half the JV team will be brought up for Varsity tonight. Are you telling me that only half of the JV played last night against the Nederland JV? I find that hard to believe seeing that the WOS JV only suits out about 28 players.

NO!!!! UIL rules state you cannot play 2 games within 5 days unless the UIL waives the rule, aka hurricane games. It is kind of done regularly in the sub-varsity level, just so teams can get games in if they don't have the numbers to fill two teams. But it is against the rules to allow players to play a JV game then play a varsity game the next night.

If people would bother to look at our Week 0 schedule, they would see that it was the BH soph. team playing High Island.

Ryker, it has been posted in our Week 0 schedule as the BH soph. team. for the last week. I figured that is where you got the games, from our schedule. I say it should count.

I picked the BH JV. The Soph. team was not a choice. Who is playing, the JV or soph. team? Regardless, looks like High Island will win. Makes me 1-0.

In the pickem contest, 72 posters picked Barbers Hill soph, 61 picked High Island. I am one of the 61.

Final Silsbee JV 29 H. Davis JV 0 Correction on the running clock. It was 8 minute running clock, not 10 minute. This game finished in less than an hour, 55 minutes to be exact. Hardly worth the drive over.

I think it is quite obvious that the delay is because of embarassment. No way Roc sits on a good recruiting class this long. I am very curious of what his explanation will be for not releasing the names.
