Vidor agreeing to play a game with just 1 day of rest has nothing to do with Nederland's concern. I totally understand why Ned would want the UIL to rule on this, it is within their rights. This kind of thing could lead to coercion. Yes there is a chance of rain tomorrow, but to me, all the district games should be moved up, or all should be played tomorrow. If they get rained out tomorrow, then you adjust your schedule accordingly.

You guys are forgetting that we are putting together a 1st and 2nd team all decade. A total of 14 players per decade, so there is room for more nominees.

I would like to see this game too but WB has nothing to win in this game. If they win, so what they are 5A and they should win. However, if they lose.......that's not good. I may be wrong but I don't think a 3A team can play a 5A team. I believe the UIL does not allow a team to play two classifications above or below it's own classification. Wrong, it's done on many occassion. Just last year 2A Kirbyville was scheduled to play 4A LCM until the hurricane hit. Also 2A Newton has played 4A teams in the past. There has been several 1A schools play 3A schools.

I disagree with one point of this post. You cannot use the phrase "your former president" then follow it by using the phrase " our current president". If you use "your" then you must follow it with "my", otherwise it should say "our former president" followed by " our current president".

What confuses me about the BISD stadium is it's seating capacity. They say it will be 11,000 capacity, but with two decks on each side, you would think there would be more. I know that PNG, Nederland, and even 3A Silsbee's stadium holds 10,000, and that's just single decks on both sides. PNG's stadium probably holds more than 10,000 with it's new expansion. Cardinal Stadium holds 17,500 with single decks, roughly 7,000 more than what the BISD stadium will hold. Maybe that has something to do with the lower costs of builing the BISD stadium. Looks as though those decks won't be very big. : These are the numbers listed for biggest HS stadiums in SETX 1. Indian Stadium (PN-G) 13,000 2. Bulldog Stadium (Nederland) 11,000 3.
