You pitch Hester against Nederland, no brainer. If not, then you are only settling for playoff spot and not trying to win district and that can backfire on you. Vidor will qualify for playoffs by pitching their best against the best and give them the chance to win district along the way.

The WOS Mustangs travel over to Silsbee tonight to take on the Tigers in district 21-3A action. The Tigers (8-7, 1-0) are looking to continue their current win streak, which is at 4 games, and remain undefeated in district play. The Mustangs (11-6, 0-1) will be trying to get their first district win this season. Silsbee defeated Hardin-Jefferson 7-2 last Friday to open district play while WOS lost a very tough game to district favorite Orangefield, 4-3. Vidor baseball is being broadcast here on SETXsports because VIDOR sponsors have paid for them to be broadcast here. Therefore, the broadcasts will have a Vidor flavor to it. It's no different when we do Silsbee, Newton, Kirbyville, Vidor and Lumberton football games here. They will be broadcast in the manner of them being the home broadcast, nothing nuetral about it. Those towns have sponsors paying for the broadcasts to be here and they want their schools promoted. Now we occassionaly do some neutral games when we get the opportunity, but our obligations are towards our paying sponsors.

It was just a scrimmage. Nothing really to report on. The spring game will bring them out (media)

I have to wonder why LCM is even playing this game. Played district game last night and will play another district game Monday night.
