I predict a great game.

[/quote] The free throw shooting is on Hudson. They shot poorly in the first half, only going 4/13. Didn't do much better in the second half, 5/10. Silsbee defended the 3 point arch very well pushing the Hudson shooters way out of their range. I would say of those 9 three's that Hudson shot last night, 5 were from 25 feet or more. Hudson never shot an uncontested three last night. Silsbee had a defender in the face on each shot. And when you got a '6'3, '6"4 and sometimes a '6"7 coming out to defend the three, it makes it very tough to get off a good shot.

Me personally, I stayed here in Huntsville and will being staying overnight tonight also. Screw that late night driving.

Here we are again, for the 3rd time in the last 4 years, an HJ/Silsbee regional final! This marks the 4th straight year for the Hawks to make the regional finals and for Silsbee, this is their 4th trip in 6 years. This is a rubber game in two instances as these two teams split their district games this year and both have beaten each other in a regional final. Winner moves on to Austin giving district 21-3A a rep for the 5th straight year. Our broadcast will start at 6:10 with a 20 minute pregame show followed by tipoff at 6:30pm. Same with Silsbee. After losing all their 3 point shooting and their all state point guard, just didn't think Silsbee could make it this far.

So what's your point? My prediction is based off info that was given to me from folks that have seen Fairfield play. A prediction is just a prediction, just my opinion. There's nothing wrong or inaccurate to predicting HJ to win by 20. I never saw Hamshire-Fannett all season until Silsbee played them but I predicted before the game that Silsbee would win by 30+ and they did. That prediction came from the info that people gave me who had seen them play. Again, HJ will beat Fairfield by 20, 69-49.

[/quote] Going to 3A and 1A regional tourneys. Broadcasting the 3A regional tourney at Sam Houston and blogging the 1A regional at SFA. 2A is a done deal, New Waverly to Austin.
