1.
Congrats, peaking at the right time, alot of weapons, just need to keep your heads.
I totally agree. Got to keep the focus and not get too frustrated.
 2. As far as I know, Chad has not posted a link to his site. He has the site name in his avatar and signature, but he also has our link on his website. I really have no problem with BRI, but we never have allowed links to other "local" messageboards on this site and most likely never will. That's not good business.
 3. Current standings are: Goodrich        9-2 Burkeville        8-3 Leggett          8-3 Spurger          8-3 Spurger plays @ Goodrich Tuesday night and a win by Spurger would most likely leave that district with 4 teams tied at 9-3. Leggett and Burkeville should win their games Tuesday night. If Spurger were to win, then this is how each team stands head-to-head with each other:                             Goodrich        Burkeville        Leggett          Spurger Goodrich                      x                1-1              1-1                1-1                3-3 Burkeville                    1-1                x                2-0                0-2                3-3 Leggett                      1-1                0-2                x                2-0                3-3 Spurger                      1-1                2-0              0-2                x                  3-3 Curious to see how they would break these ties. Of course, If Goodrich wins, this is all moot. Goodrich would be the district winner, Burkeville runnerup, and Leggett third. SETXsports just may have o make a trip to Goodrich Tuesday night. ;)
 4.

After Dove has already established how well the academics are at Hamshire-Fannett, it would be very obvious that any move from them to a school within the district would be for athletic purposes. I see problems arising here. ;) ;D
Just go to Kelly. Package deal. I'm sure they'd even offer Dove an asst. coach spot.
If there was a move, this would be the smart play. ;)
 5.
They are in the poll that comes out every SUnday!!! :D :D :D
Isn't that SETXsports rankings, not "your's"?
 6.
Baddog, that says alot to me.  You will see that in MY rankings tomorrow when they are posted!!!! ;) ;) ;)
I didn't know that "your" rankings were ever posted. ::)

 8.
Was there any question that the Tigers would be undefeated district champs?  ;)
Just a slight one. ;D

 10.

is there even another lamar forum out there?  if so, i've never heard of it.
Yes, and having multiple forums for Lamar is good.  Competition is good.
I agree, competition is good. Now, if we could just get some comp. ;) ;D

The 2nd quarter was a slopfest but the Tiger defense kept Orangefield at bay. The second half was just more of the same as the Tigers seemed to get a little frustrated with how the foul calls were going against them. A couple of technicals were called out of frustration and Silsbee just seemed to go thru the motions after that. Silsbee did work on their spread offense in the 4th quarter once they forced Orangefield out of their zone defense, which led to the low 4th quarter output. Silsbee now extends their current win streak to 17 games and has won 24 of their last 25. Silsbee claims their second consecutive outright district championship. Silsbee (28-2, 9-0) Orangefield (12-16, 2-7)

 19. Also, Silsbee moved up 2 JV players to varsity and will suit out for the remaining two district games and for the playoffs. Silsbee will be moving a freshmen player up as well.
 20.
What happened to the jv game?
Silsbee was down to just 5 players on JV due to grades and injuries.
 21.
I'm kinda glad that we dont have to have the seeding game between HJ and Silbee this year, Hopefully both teams will make it to regionals and play there like so many years before.
We didn't have a seeding game last year either. ;) ;D
