Lamar should have a minimum of 150 yards rushing and not give up a sack in this game.
150? They better get a minimum of 300!!!!
I was giving them the benefit of working on the pass game as well. I actually see a 200 yard rush game.

I know we need help to get out of this drought, but only for the sake of the game I wish this. A wet field will give an edge to FW. It's harder to play speed football in those conditions.
Good thing Coop didn't say anything like that Griff.A certain poster on here would jump on that and say Coop was already making excuses. ;D
You rang? ;D ;D

***SETXsports HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RANKINGS - WEEK 1***
AggiesAreWe replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Okay straight up. WOSgrad this question is for you. In your opinion WHEN Vidor beats Bridge City this week do you think they will pass up BC in the rankings. I noticed you said earlier that a win over a team didn't necessarily mean that they would pass them up in the rankings but in your honest opinion do you think they will?
If they do beat BC, I personally will have Vidor ranked higher than BC, but depending on how the rest of the teams do in the poll, will determine how high I rank Vidor. It's very possible that Vidor could only move up 1 spot, with BC at #15. (just depends on how the other 9 pollsters vote) -
I will say that it was legible enough to know it was either/or for the year. And, "black out" is not an accurate description. They knew when it needed to be addressed and it was. There was no wrong doing by anyone from the district, past or present. They were on top of it and they handled it, plain and simple. All of you folks wanting an investigation need to go see the DA. There is NOTHING for WOCCISD to investigate.
I am not sure I understand what you mean by "they knew when it needed to be addressed"? I was understood that Cornell only found out about it last week. If you say "they knew", well shouldn't this been addressed even before two-a-days?
The people that watch that stuff, I don't know what you call them. They brought it to his (Cornels) attention. School is not in during two-a-days, is it? Again, what differnce does it make, AAW?
I just didn't understand what you were stating with the "they knew" comment. Now I understand. But, I would think whoever found this would not hesitate to tell Cornell so that he could address this as quickly as possible. Can't imagine "they" would wait till the week of the regular season to "spring" this on Coach Thompson. BTW, school staff are at work during two-a-days, just not students.
Most of us can read between the lines and see that you are just getting your shots in at WOS as you always do. Subtle yet continuous.
::)
Putting our little rolling the eyes thing on here doesn't change the facts. I'm confused as what you are digging for?
Just looking for some clarity. The article, along with some comments made here, just bring up some questions. I personally believe it had more to do with the parents and student side of it than the administration.
As long as the school did the right thing why are you concerned with what the parents did? Is it going to change anything at all? Will it make you feel better? I guess I just don't have that need to know. My concern is and was that the school did the right thing. That happened.
The school did right (Cornell acted correctly as soon as he knew). It bothers me that a set of parents and student SEEM to have been willing to risk the season and run the risk of disappointing many other students who have all worked hard themselves and are eligible. -
