Worthing? Are you serious? That's real funny.
What's more funny is the fact that "scooter" believes teams win and lose scrimmages. ::) -

Should "Da' Butch" become "Da' Bubba?"

In all honesty, I think it should be named Levias/Smith Memorial Stadium. -

All the media guys at the practice said the same in regards to the QB competition. ;) I guess they are all homers too. ::) -
Midnight Madness in Evadale

Just got back from Midnight Madness. Another great atmosphere at Evadale! QB position will be a battle. No Devon Murphy, decided not to play football, disappointing to say the least. All in all, good practice. Got to catch up with my friends on the Rebel coaching staff. Also chatted with my buddies Dave Hofferth (KBMT), Alex Cawley (KFDM) and Gina Mizell (BE), nice time. Most important, I DIDN"T GET MOSQUITO BIT!!!! Hopefully I'll get some pics up later today. -
Lamar QB's share load at first practice

I was at the practice tonight. It's going to be a battle for that #1 QB position. All three looked good. Jeremy had a little more zip on the ball than the other two and was much quicker and faster in running the zone read. Jeremy also was the only player who stayed after practice for voluntary workouts. I predict he will be the man by the 3rd game of the season. -

I was at this game. Livingston had and should have won.

Bridge City players like chances against WO-S
AggiesAreWe replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I can't believe people are trying to make the argument that they can stay with WO-s because of what they were able to do when the players were younger. The difference between WO-S and other teams in the area is that, other teams players reach their peak at those younger ages, while WO-S continue to get better year by year. WO-s will have no competition in this area this year. They have most of their defense coming back and a talented back field to where they won't need to throw the ball, with a quarterback who has a year of experience and will be a lot better.
No competition huh? ::) Sounds very familiar. ;) -

The only rule for coaching at a school in Texas is that you are a full time employee of the school. The rules change for head coaching positions of major sports. That is where the certification issue comes in but there is no time table when it comes to coaching....the time tables deal only with teaching.
And you have to be certified to be a head coach in Texas.
You would do best staying out of this dangle. You clearly don't know what you are talking about!
Truly Twiggy, when is the last time you saw a sub-varsity coach in Texas featured in FXSW " High School Spotlight". Thank you , I knew the answer already....NEVER
You still haven't answered my question about explaining the "foul play" remark.

WOS defense will be very good this year. That Chain Gang defense will win them several games this year. I say it will carry them most of the season until that offense finally starts jelling. -
Schedule: Texas College @ South Alabama Incarnate Word @ Southeastern La. Northwestern La. @ Texas St. Central Ark. @ Sam Houston SFA @ Nicholls St. McNeese St. The magic number is 5.5 I'll take the over.
