Nederland has played the limit of 21 games, therefore they cannot play a warm up game and the reason why Coach English wanted to play the seed game.

WOS vs. Orangefield now being played Friday at PNG 7pm. The winner will play Hamshire-Fannett Saturday at a site and time to be determined. The game is not set to be played at East Chambers Saturday.

Spread around three playing sites and sponsored by East Texas Jet Support Services, the East Texas Playoff Preview should give fans a taste of the great playoff action they are set to enjoy in the coming weeks. Just the Tenaha site features ½ of last year’s Class A- Region III Regional Tournament, a top 10 program from Class A-II, three 3A powerhouses that include a one-loss Pleasant Grove, #5 Silsbee, and perennial playoff contender Pittsburg, and one of 2A’s most prolific programs in Frankston. Teams from classes 1A to 3A are slated to play here in Tenaha. [/quote] I like Silsbee in this game. I think the Tigers speed, athleticism, and man-to-man pressure defense will be too much for Splendora. Only team that Splendora has played this year that could come close to comparing to Silsbee's speed is Coldspring and Splendora lost both those games, 56-41 and 61-31. I have seen Coldspring play, they are a little bigger than Silsbee but are not as fast. Splendora does not tend to handle man defense that well. I got Silsbee by 15+.

I was speaking of individual players. The Hunter kid on Ozen's JV and the player on Silsbee's JV that was forced to play JV because of transfer rules (Hunter for Ozen in the same boat) were two players that I am quite certain would help there respective varsity teams in the playoffs. I said nothing about those JV "teams" being good.
